Tacx I-Vortex Ergo/VR Trainer with TTS Four Basic and Ant Stick

I read a lot of negative posts about this product but haven't experienced any of the problems listed. The set up guide is very basic but common sense once you work out the pictures. the software is straightforward to install and links easily to the hardware, but you need to be aware of the hardware requirements, but like everything if you have a decent computer it is ok. I had the whole thing up and running in no time. I recommend upgrading the software and adding google earth so that you can ride your own rides. Only two gripes 1, I can't transfer my real life data from Garmin Connect and 2, if you mess up the initial set-up of the handlebar computer there doesn't seem to be any way to reset it back to the factory settings which means I have to do all my rides in km's instead of miles. But all in all a great product with realistic views and resistance and a great way to cycle during the dark evenings

I have had the trainer for three days. It was difficult to set up as was the software on the CD ROM (I had problems loading the software from the disc). Once I had the software loaded, making all the adjustments in order to make the trainer connect with the software took time - I had to reassemble the trainer several times and play around with the bluetooth connection.Once the software was loaded and I paired it with the trainer it appears to work well. I had my first training session this morning and had no problems.

As expected having owned one before a really great, flexible bit of kit - links to the PC if required or can be used as a standalone trainer?

Didn't work. Amber status light on permanently after Power on Built In Test. Disappointed. Ordered a new one.

Great for the days I can't get out in the winter.

Great product and now they have an ipad app its really easy to use, find i use the app and not the meter reader. The meter readers fitting is too small, so cannot fit on handlebars, a pain. Calibration is easy and the equipment is light and easy to fold away. I dont read manuals, so enjoyed the product, very happy so far, need to purchase a few more rides to comment on visuals

Ich schreibe hier meine erste Rezension, weil mich dieses Teil wirklich geärgert hat.Anfangs noch optimistisch, habe ich Stunden damit verbracht, das Teil zu kalibrieren, die Software zu installieren und irgendwie zum Laufen zu bringen. Die ersten zwei Winter habe ich das Gerät dann auch tatsächlich verwendet. Im dritten Winter war dann leider kein Training möglich, da die Bremse sich nicht mehr mit dem Computer verbindet. Um mit dem Support zu kommunizieren, muss ein Softwareupdate durchgeführt werden um irgendeine Ticketsoftware zu laden. Die stürzt dann aber dauern ab oder hängt sich auf. Sehr nervend. Eine Recherche im Internet ergab dann, dass die Elektroeinheit an der Bremse getauscht werden muss. Das war mir aber zu teuer.Mein Fazit: : Finger weg.- Die Software ist Frechheit. Ich habe selten etwas so Stümperhaftes gesehen .- Die Elektronik war bei mir pünktlich nach Ende der Garantie defekt.- Support für mich nicht erreichbar.

En cuanto a "hardware" todo perfecto.El software deberían mejorarlo, da muchos problemas relacionados con la visualización del entorno en Windows Vista.

Der Fahrradtrainer ist recht stabil, aber nicht wirklich wahnsinnig innovativ im Vergleich zu älteren Modellen, aber die TTS4 Software ist der Wahnsinn! Leute, probiert das mal aus! So macht stundenlanges Radeln im Keller wirklich Spaß!Die Lieferung war sehr rasch aber man sollte stabilere Überkartons benutzen, denn der Trainer hat ein ordentliches Gewicht und das merkt man an den Beschädigungen des Originalkartons.Bei diesem Händler kaufe ich trotzdem sicher wieder!Dankeeuer Mike

Ich bin vollkommen mit dem I-Vortex zufrieden, es ist das zweite Gerät von Tacx, denn nachdem meine Frau bereit das Vorgängermodell aufgerüstet hat, habe ich mich ebenfalls zu diesem Gerät durchgerungen und fahre seitdem gegen Sie!Auch das ist Rennen. Bringt immer wieder Spaß und ist unheimlich schweißtreibend!!!Immer wieder gut!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gesamtpaket. Ja, ich kann es nur jedem Empfählen der im Winter mit dem Rad trainieren möchte.
