Incredibly Affordable HomeKit Shades
I don’t really write Amazon reviews, but I couldn’t not acknowledge these amazing blinds. They are surprisingly affordable and great to use. These are my first HomeKit shades and I’ve been incredibly impressed. Set up was so easy - drilling two mount brackets into the wall and clicking the unit it. You use the remote to set how far down you’d like the shades to go. Then add it right into HomeKit, easy as that. It comes with a long USB-C to USB-A charger, (didn’t come with a brick but I just used my iPad charger), but the shade arrived with about 70% battery. It is very quiet too. Very very excited to buy more of these shades for all the windows in my home. I couldn’t be happier with these HomeKit shades. Thanks Smartwings!

WILL NOT RECHARGE
I used these for about 6 months and they were great for my home office then they stopped working, I charged them for days on end and they never recharged and are unusable, Good luck trying to contact the manufacturer, I haven't been able to and Amazon just refers you to the manufacturer.

Glitches and functions don’t justify purchase
Although the batteries lasted nearly 10 months without recharge, one roller died faster than other. The same roller which died faster, was actually used less because the automations and connection would often not work. 1 window/roller worked well with HomeKit and phone connection, while the other 4 feet away was normally “unresponsive.” Frustrating to have to get the remote out when the purpose was integration with HomeKit over other brands.Make sure you program the max/min of each roller separately before grouping multiple rollers together on one remote… they need to be calibrated at setup individually… made that mistake of pairing, so I have to use HomeKit (if it works) one roller stays “open” 3% and other 4%.Wouldn’t buy again, the charge won’t reach above 75% even after being fully plugged in for over 48 hours. Would rather spent a little more to have a smoother process/operation.

HomeKit blinds
Easily adopted into HomeKit, been using daily for a few weeks. Blinds work great, much quieter than anticipated for motorized blinds. Fast response time. I wish this company would make some honeycomb blinds as well. A great price for great product.

Second set damaged itself
This is my second set I bought because I loved the first so much. Unfortunately the second set began to wind up unevenly causing it to shred the side of it.Upon contacting support, they shipped a new working pair and were easy to work with on the issue. Updated review to reflect the fix.
