MANSCAPED® The Beard Hedger® Men's Premium Beard Trimmer

I just purchased this item and have been using it for about a week. I'll speak to what I experienced thus far: I am in my 50's and have been through quite a few beard trimmers in my time. I typically like to be clean-shaven but in my line of work, that isn't always convenient. Therefore, my common facial hair practices are best served as quick and as short as possible -- which is why a beard trimmer is a necessity. One of things I have always disliked about the beard trimming process is the mess and the cleanup, and in the past I've purchased trimmers that catch the hair as it cuts. The downside to those products was how short they would trim, which wasn't very short unless you took off the attachment. But when the guard was taken off, the trimmer would sometimes pull hair or cause skin irritation. The Beard Hedger has none of those problems. Want no mess? Use it in the shower. Want a very short trim? Take off the guard and use it -- no pain, no skin irritation. Holding this trimmer right out of the box gave me an immediate feeling that the quality of this trimmer was top of the line. Not sure if I can put that into understandable words, but once you hold it, you'll understand what I mean. As I said, I've been using this trimmer for about a week. I fully charged it when I received it -- which was super quick -- and I have yet to require a recharge after using it daily. That said, I don't have to run it for more than a few minutes each day. It cuts every hair in one pass. Maybe it costs a little more than the common beard trimmer and even the name-brand ones, but I am extremely pleased with it and happy with the decision to spend the extra -- I feel very confident that I received exactly what I paid for -- well worth it.

Performance-wise, it does a really solid job. The blade cuts evenly and doesn’t tug, even on thicker hair. It’s designed to lift flat hairs as you trim, which actually helps you get a more consistent cut in fewer passes. I’ve noticed I can usually get a clean, even result pretty quickly without going over the same area multiple times. The build quality feels premium. It’s got a nice weight to it, and the waterproof design is a big plus—you can use it in the shower and rinse it off easily afterward. The battery life is also decent, giving around an hour of runtime, which is more than enough for regular grooming. Comfort and usability are both strong. It’s easy to hold, and the single comb system keeps things straightforward. If you like minimal setups without a bunch of attachments, this is a big win. That said, it’s not perfect. It’s a bit pricier than basic trimmers, and if you prefer having multiple guards for very specific styling, the all-in-one comb might feel limiting. I’ve also seen some people mention long-term durability concerns, so it may not be as rugged as some professional-grade brands. Overall, this is a great everyday beard trimmer—especially for guys who want something easy to use, clean, and efficient. It simplifies the whole grooming process while still delivering sharp, consistent results.

Excellent Trimmer - Very haappy with purchase! I saw that one of my adult son's had one and tried it. It safely trims and does not harm the skin as some of the other corded hair trimers can. I really gravitated towards this model due to the adjustable blade retraction system with the 20 settings. The unit is lightweight, comfortable to use but has weight enough for good balance and easy use. The blade comb works well, esy to install or remove for cleaning and I also added the larger attachment and I use it to trim my hair (I keep my hair close-cropped to balance the areas I'm getting thinner on the top. Battery life is very good and the moise level is very acceptable (my older option was very loud and rattling). Highly recommended product.

I am impressed with these clippers. It has great percision without the guard and with the guard there are so many levels to trim my beard the way I want. I can feel the quality when I hold it in my hand. I recommend it as the best beard trimmer I've seen and used.

Trims well...no issues there. But, the motor is not good. Won't hold a charge and it runs at random speeds. One second it's at full power and the next it's barely chugging along. I mean, it works, but you could tell the motor was wearing down within months after I bought it. Now, it barely runs. I need to buy a new one, but reluctant to replace it with this same brand. It's too bad, because otherwise I really like it.

Got the manscaped beard hedger on cyber Monday at a discounted rate. I’ve had just about every other brand of shaver and this one seems to be the best from my initial experience. I purchased this one originally because of the length dial rather than the half dozen attachments that come with other brands that you always end up losing anyways. That alone is a major advantage to me. The shave I was able to accomplish with this was 10/10. Secondly I love the fact that it comes with a type c charging cable ( most common cable nowadays ). That is just another selling feature to me knowing that I’ll most likely never not have a charging cable as they’re so readily available and most my other products use the same. Lastly I love the fact it comes with the sleek carry case. Easily can be thrown into a suit case without worry of it being squished like cheaper models. Overall very impressed, even though it isn’t the cheapest shaver I do believe it’s worth it.

I have purchased the Lawnmower 3, the ear and nose hair clipper, and now this product, and it is their best yet. Like most people, I was using the Lawnmower for everywhere (after a proper cleaning), and while it works well for its intended purpose, I found that it was mediocre for maintaining my facial hair. This product has a multitude of settings, and I was completely pleased after the first use. The short cropped beard I maintain was evenly cut, no stray hairs, it has a great shape, and performed even better than I imagined. Manscaped also has impeccable customer service; there has been multiple occasions during which they sent me something free of charge-- like when the comb on my Lawnmower 3 broke. Which brings me to the one complaint I have; this is priced like a premium product, and it is in every regard, except for the comb that comes with their products-- that plastic removable spikey thing. It is always made of a cheap, easily damaged plastic, and there's just no excuse for such a corner to be cut. Because when that comb brakes, as insignificant as it seems, your product becomes useless until it's replaced.
