I had been wandering round for weeks with the packet from the last bulb I bought in my handbag, needing to buy another to put in stock. No matter where I looked I couldnt seem to find the right shape, wattage, type - and at last I had a lightbulb moment and thought of Amazon! Excellent product, just what I wanted at a much reduced price. Well packaged too - not one damaged. Great!

I use these bulbs in an old lava lamp which can't use modern energy saving bulbs. Supermarkets have stopped stocking most old style bulbs now especially specialist designs like this one, so going on-line to get them is a good alternative.These bulbs arrived individually boxed and wrapped very well in lots of bubble wrap. I've only used one so far, but it hasn't popped yet!Recommended.Quick Update: Still on the first bulb and now 2 months old, which is pretty great in a lava lamp where they don't normally last long.

Quick delivery. Perfect for our lamp which has a glass shade and, therefore, size does matter. This purchase saved us from wandering the streets trying to find one. Great value and seems to be lasting longer than some of the others which have been reviewed. I have no problems with this purchase and would buy again when all 10 have been used. Perhaps the company has other sizes! Thank you very much, you have saved us time, money and our eyesight in the dark.

The bulbs function fine - they have brought me out of the darkness into the light and its lovely. A little disappointed that one of them has blown already - but with the bumper pack of 10 bulbs I wasn't short of a replacement!The product was good value for money, and well what else can I say about light bulbs? They do what they're supposed to.

These bulbs, made in China, where else? Are down right dangerous. A whole pack of 10 individually failed within ONE Hour of fitting to light fixture. 8 of them internally exploded at first switch on. I’ve just realised to my horror that I’ve just bought another pack by mistake. When I tried to contact Amazon about the first order all I got was a statement than that this product had been removed from the website. Well it seems that they are back , steer clear they are rubbish in my experience.I’ve found an excellent type to replace them.

I ordered a pack of these to try in my 3 fan/light fittings with dimmable remote control. I received Polaroid branded bulbs, and the ones I've now fitted in my lounge still seem to be working fine after a month.As these don't seem to be stocked in shops any more I've since ordered another pack to ensure I can keep my light fittings operating the way they were intended when bought. Low energy ones can't be dimmed, and I haven't seen any LCD versions that give all round even illumination when used horizontally, and clear halogen ones project an image onto the opaque glass fitting.
