Ugly look, sublime sound, incredible value. Easily as good as £60 pairs on high street but you may need better tips
It's hard to know exactly what you get with this package... mine look like the photo but there's no indicator to say which is left or right, I'm presuming one with red on cable is right. Also the inline switch and microphone look different, just plain black plastic.Bought them after a very good review on wired.com and glad I did as 24 hours later they are out of stock. There are other suppliers on Amazon but they all look slightly different and it's likely they are all as good but made in different batches wth different switches and bits. The good.Astonishing sound quality. The test for any earphones is can you hear more detail, better balance etc than before. I reckon these beat £45 Yamaha brass, what hi if award winning earphones, easily trounce sennheiser cx300ii and are far easier to listen to than others as they have very well balanced sound in the main. Not best with super heavy or distorted sources but amazingly open and clear sound. Bass is particularly good as it's clear and strong without overwhelming the sound like cheaper earphones tend to suffer from. The bad is that the rather useful memory foam tips are too loose and fall off easily. The silicon ones included are a good fit on the earphones but nothing like as good for sealing in the sound as the memory foam ones. They are also a weird rather chunky shape so if you like to slip these into a pocket, take care as they are angular awkward thingsOverall, stunning value but quirky in look and design. If you can live with that, they are amazingly good for only about £12I also reckon the build quality is good but have on,y had them a short time.

I bought this on the back of a recent Wired review that sang the KZ ATE's praises. Whilst I can't vouch for the longevity and can say that the cable is far from a tangle free affair, the sound is better than many headphones I've bought at ten times the price. It's also the first set of in ears I've bought that provide a soundstage comparable to some overears - considerably impressed for the money!

Great sounding earphones
Great sound quality (Coming from a regular user of Bose headphones and speakers) and excellent bass response, they give much more expensive (around £70-£100) earphones very good competition. I have used them regularly for the last few months, and despite being someone who always breaks there earphones somehow, they are still holding up very well. Although the shape of the earphones is strange at first, it is easy to get used to and they actually have a surprisingly good fit. The microphone is decent and the play/pause/call button is very responsive. One small complaint I have is that the provided memory foam ear tips worsen the sound quality significantly, so silicon is the only way to go with these.

Excelent sound quality - slighly bass heavy but easy to sort out with an equalizer app. Astonishing vlaue for money and compare well in terms of sound quality to my sound magic e 50's.They are comfortable but slighly larger than usual - I occasionally wear earphones under a motorbike helmet for long boring trips, and most definately would not be able to squeeze these into a helmet!

literally amazing, very impressed these have just as good quality as my £120 set of buds. the sound quality is great. comfortable as well, i'm using the foam tips as they provide better isolation than silicone rubbish. although i probably will switch to my cheap alternative tips which are just ear buds for when asleep but with a hole in the middle and then cut in half.

These are great I've tested them against top shure in ears as well as audio technica iems from £300-£800's and there's not much difference at all.
