Good upgrade for a fish tank
I bought this triple lamp to replace the original one which was not very bright. It fits perfectly and made a hughe difference to the overall brightness of my 60L fish tank and the rate of growth of my plants. They look much happier now.The new upgraded light looks great and the whole tank is now equally lit up.I also have it on an automatic timer, which I got separatley. Both still work well after more than a year.Recommended.

Brilliant lights - and they DO fit Love Fish Panorama 64 litre fish tank
After reading conflicting reviews about whether this light fits the Love Fish Panorama 64 litre fish tank from Pets at Home I hesitated buying this but took the chance given that Pets @ Home wanted to charge twice as much. I am very happy to report that this light not only fits just right but literally clicked right in place. The difference in brightness compared to the original lights is drastic, meaning that I've inadvertently been depriving my fish of proper light for years. Our gold fish even turned white, losing its colour, due to the dim lights that came with the tank. Hopefully the colour will return now that we have proper lights in the tank. Highly recommend this and will buy again when these run out.

Very good upgrade for my aquarium
Very good upgrade for my aquarium. I choose to buy it because I want to have Hemianthus Callitrichoides as carpet and this plant needs a lot of light.I received it on the next day. It was easy to change, but I wanted to keep the other unit as well. My girlfriend had a nice idea to use some cable ties to mount the dual unit on top of the new one, and I used a separate ac/dc adapter to power it.I don't use all 5 strips all the day to avoid algae growth. I keep the 3 lines unit on 10 hours a day using the Interpet timer and I turn on only for 4 hours the dual lines unit using a socket timer. The plants seems to blooming and it's also nice that the light doesn't produce heat.I would definitely recommended.

Easy fit upgrade
I bought this as an upgrade on a second hand Love Fish branded tank (which only had one white LED as opposed to the two in the Interpet Panorama).A previous reviewer mentioned an issue with the power cable being too short for the Love Fish tank but I actually found the cable too long but was able to tuck it behind the screwed cover. This was simple to fit and made an immediate impact, removing shadows and making the colours "pop".This product comes with a 12 month guarantee and was delivered very promptly.** update **After 6 months use I continue to be impresses by the visual impact. This also supports healthy growth of live plants** 1 year update **All the LEDs still work, however the white lights appear slightly duller than they were initially** 2 year update **Still working well on approximately 5 hours use per day. No change in brightness and no flickering as per some reviews.

An absolute must for anyone with the Love Fish Panorama 64 litre!
I bought a Love Fish Panorama 64 litre fish tank from Pets at Home this Summer. It turns out that the Love Fish tank is actually the Interpet Fish Pod, just re-branded as Love Fish for Pets at Home. Also it's had some tweaks but not exactly for the best. They decided to only add one white LED strip bar and one smaller blue LED strip (clearly to cut costs!) Anyway after researching how to upgrade the LED's I was firstly sent to the Pets at Home website (suggested by Interpet themselves.) Pets at Home do an upgrade LED set for £60!!! I'm guessing it's the same product as this one! I eventually found this set on Amazon and as it's half the price I ordered it. It arrived today and upon installing it there is one small gripe about the product but I'll come to that. The Love Fish Panorama tank has a small plastic protective hood piece built into the underside of the lid, this has one screw keeping it in place so that needs to be unscrewed. This gives access to the wires from the LED bars to the built in power pack via little tracks that the wires can squeeze into to run them neatly around then into the power supply via the jack plug. The lighting unit is so easy to fit! The old one just unclips out and this one just clips in. However.... (Here's the gripe) The lead from this triple LED bar is about two inches too short to fit neatly into the wire tracks around to the power supply where the jack plug slots into. If Interpet had made these LED's with the wire leaving the bars from the top side instead of the bottom, then it would fit perfectly. I'm assuming this is because the Love Fish tank is slightly different to the Interpet Fish Pod. Anyway all it meant was that the wire couldn't be fitted into the wire tracks properly so I did the best job I could clipping it into the first part of the track and the last (cutting the corner off.) You'd know what I mean if you saw it. It was a neat enough job and with the plastic protective hood screwed back on you can't see it anyway. Turned the lights on and WOW!!!! The difference is unreal! I actually have two of these tanks but the other one isn't planted so I'm not too fussed about upgrading the lights on that one. Or should I say I wasn't as this one is so bright it now makes the other look pathetically dim. So it looks like I will be buying another one of these for that one after all. I've no doubt with the difference in the amount of light that my plants are going to benefit from this upgrade no end! I definitely recommend this product!***EDIT*** I did contact Interpet and asked whether it was normal that the lead with the jack plug on was a little short. They replied to advise that this LED unit is not compatible with the Love Fish 64 litre tank. What an absolute load of rubbish!! It IS compatible! It's in my tank right now, only with the wire not going all the way around the wire track. Which to be honest is a minor gripe and it doesn't actually affect the use of the lights at all. They again pointed me to Pets at Home for the so called, "compatible" unit at £60!!!! Erm no thanks!!

Amazing
Absolutely amazing so easy to install took literally 2 minutes and the difference in the tank is astonishing this is the pets at home love pet 64l tank and the lights in it were so dim and hardly giving off any light through what I think was limescale that I couldn’t clean off I have kept the original blue light so that there’s still a little light for nighttime but this new light was well worth the money and fits perfectly
