Purchased this mailbox as i liked the look of it. It is made nice and looks good. However once installed every time it rained which id alot in the UK the postbox took on too much rainwater soaking all the contents. I had to get the contractors at the house to seal all around the mailbox with silicone to prevent water leaking into the postbox. Not very happy as i could not return it as it was beyond timescale due to construction work etc

Liked styling & overall look , but narrow gauge metal used

Let’s water in. Looks lovely but not fit for purpose mail gets wet. Initially we drilled hole in bottom for drainage then put plastic to fill decorative holes. Whole thing is not sealed Only fit to go indoors.

Installation simple enough, looks good and slimline, Waterproof to a degree, depends on the direction of the wind, and were its positioned, 2 viewing holes allows small amount of water in, only got it due new door, requested it with no letter box, most of our mail is paperless

Bought for my parents for Christmas, it really looks the part and is much more sophisticated than their plain boring old one. Only drawback is that the lions an very effeminate and look more like mermaids than the king of the jungle. But overall very happy with it and sure they will be too, good sturdy item, would be difficult for mail thieves to access your post unlike their old one which is shorter and fairly easy for someone with a slim hand to reach in and take post out ( done it myself so I know)

I ordered this early in July, it was despatched 4 days later and arrived 10 days after that. Not impressive. When I unpacked the item I was disappointed to see that the product is not as robust as I had expected--I wonder how long it will last before rust and corrosion set in in this seaside town. It looks just as it does in the photos, and is well finished, but the metal casing is quite lightweight. It comes with two keys which can be handy, and screws and plugs for fixing it to the wall. I am not overly impressed.
