Works well.
Short version: I had an old booster and replaced it with this one and the TV I now watch is better.Long version: I live in a marginal signal area between two Freeview transmitters. The aerial was pointing at the stronger transmitter but it does not transmit all the channels now on Freeview.I got an aerial bloke round and he suggested turning the antenna to the weaker transmitter. As an ex ITV digital employee I was dubious and curious. The signal was marginal. The bloke installed an old booster he had in the van.(Free ... nice bloke!)I got all the channels fine but noticed a lack of fine detail in the picture. The signal was boosted but noise had been introduced that made the loss compensation in the receiving equipment work a little harder.I bought this booster and immediately noticed a return of the fine detail, particularly when viewing Freeview HD. The reason is that this cheap gadget has 12db gain and only 3.5db noise. Thus there was less loss of signal quality, less loss compensation by the equipment, and a better picture.Excellent product for the money! This has undoubtedly enhanced a marginal signal to a point where I am not satisfied, I am pleased.

Great value and extremely good
I wanted a booster for my RG Monarch 50 aerial, which works extremely well on my tv, but when connected to my freeview tv recorder only managed about 19 channels. I asked the question would this booster help and very grateful to all the people who replied, many thanks. I bought this booster and to my delight I can now get all tv channels and can record them. Better than with my old loft aerial and at a very cheap price, The aerial and booster together cost about £40 much better and cheaper than going for another loft aerial or rooftop aerial. So very pleased with the result.

Worked great for me!!
Had a TV upstairs and downstairs, but when used a regular splitter picture quality suffered on both. Plugged this into the aerial inlet downstairs, ran the additional aerial from this to the upstairs.....voila..great picture on both!!

AERIAL AMPLIFIER
WE ARE HAVING TROUBLE IN GETTING GOOD PICTURES ON THE FREEVIEW HD CHANNELS, SO WE GAVE THIS A GO? IT INCREASED THE SIGNAL 1 BAR, ACCORDING TO MY METER, BUT AS IT HAS 2 TV OUTLETS. I CONNECTED THE TV AND FREEVIEW RECORDER DIRECTLY. THIS WORKS BETTER THAN THE USUAL ROUTE, THROUGH THE RECORDER TO THE TV. IT DID IMPROVE THE PICTURES, BUT STILL GOT BREAK-UP WITH SOME HD CHANNELS.

Unimpressed
Unimpressive performance on my setup. My signal is weak, but feeds one TV adequately. When I used a passive splitter to feed 2 TVs both lost the weaker channels such as BBC News 24, but were OK on others. With the A1200R there is significant breakup on News 24 on both sets, so it is better than a passive splitter but still weaker than the unsplit signal. Not what I was hoping for!

Very useful bit of kit!
I wanted to get a feed off my attic TV aerial for my Kworld Pico TV USB tuner which I purchased to watch and record TV on my PC. I already had a single output TV booster Amp but rather that run two separate amplifiers I though I would try this product out. Luckily my aerial lead enters the house two feet away from my PC so it was an easy job to cut the cable, fit the appropriate connectors and plug it in - all in 20 minutes! The signal to both TV and PC TV tuner is strong and I am very pleased with the output from this signal booster and I would happily recommend this product.

Gives a much cleaner and stable signal.
I already have a good quality roof mounted aerial which runs WF100 cable into a loft mounted mains powered 4-way masthead amplifier, and although the signal is both 100% strength and quality on shorter cable runs, on two longer 30m cable runs into a kitchen and second sitting room the picture would often break up on some channels, despite on those affected TV sets the signal strength and quality being rated at 90%. As the signal was already being run through a masthead amp I was a bit sceptical about buying one of these as I figured you couldn't amplify a signal that had already been through a masthead amp, though to my surprise it has cured the problem completely. Even on those long cable runs the signal quality and strength is now rated at 100% with no pixelation or picture breakup.
