Completely secures my knee when playing netball, no more twinges when landing and twisting - well worth the money, other cheaper versions did not support as this does and still had pain.

GENUTRAIN Knieband.Gr.5 titan This is a review for the Genutrain Knieband Titan. (posted link above) TL:DR Great for BJJ, had to be careful with sizing guide. Backround: While practising BJJ, I attempted an Uchi-mata (judo throw) I didn't commit enough, my opponent ducked under and took my back then decided to jump on me distributing both of our combined body weights through my knee. End result was lots of popping and me screaming in agony on the floor, turns out I'd torn my medial collateral ligament. fast forward to when I could walk properly, I bought a velcro wrap around knee support, which was ok, but not amazing, as it kept coming down the leg, after reading about this knee support, I decided to try it and I was not disappointed, so much so, I'm going to buy another. Ok, so I had my first roll last night with this on, I'm blue belt at the moment and I was against another blue belt, we were going for it and this knee support stayed on throughout, which really surprised me as it often slides down my leg about an inch after putting it on and walking around, so I'm very pleased with it. When washing it, I used normal non-bio washing powder and some dettol anti-bacterial in-wash solution and it's come out fine, so again, really pleased there too. When buying it, the sizing guide was a bit ambiguous as my calf was within the range of a number 4, and my thigh was in the range of a number 6, so I thought I'd go for the one in the middle and bought a number 5. (I'm 5'9", fairly well built) and a number 5 seems to be spot on, though if I'm honest, I'd prefer it to be a bit tighter on my thigh, and a bit more slack on my calf (yes it is on the right way up, you can't get that wrong as it has a thumb guide to pull it on) anyway, after seeing this come out of the wash ok, I'm going to be getting myself another one, but as the reviews on here are a bit vague for anything BJJ related I thought I'd post for you guys.

This is the best slip on knee support out in the UK market, value for money although is a pricey , I found the comfort is good , plus for pain relief I took the Size 3

Item arrived quickly, good quality brace , non slip after playing cricket for 3 hours , good lateral support , breathable material and did not hamper knee movements or running . I will buy again once this wears off.

good support, material rolls behind knee but seems unavoidable, the right fit/compression. hyper mobility will use for running and walking with backpacks over 65l.

It is the best brand for a BJJ practitioner. Gives lots of support for the knee.

Overall if you are looking for any kind of braces for sports, Bauerfeind is the company to go with. I own a few of their products and they are miles ahead of everything else. Now about this sleeve. I use these (got 1 per knee) for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo to reduce impact on my knee as well as the constant stress of being on the knees during ground fighting. These are one of the few knee sleeves (tried a few) that actually stay where you want them, without cutting of your blood flow. The knee cap is protected by some nice padding around it. While the ligaments are supported by some thin strands running along them within the sleeve itself. Best knee sleeves/pads out there.

Needed a knee brace that could hold a cold pack. This knee support works beautifully. I weigh 124 lbs. and have a small frame & ordered a small. It does fit but I could have ordered a medium. Nevertheless it works and I like it.

Vorgeschichte... Wochenlang einen Graben mit Spaten ausgehoben...Gelenkserguss in beiden Knien!!! Und die Knie waren wie instabil geworden. Ich hatte immer das Gefühl, meine Knie verdrehen sich oder rennen sich aus. Ich hatte keine Schmerzen beim Laufen, also bakteriell war erstmal alles noch gut! Vorerkrankung Morbus Bechterew, Gelenkserguss schon mal gehabt, Behandlung damals mit ordentlich Kortison. Das wollte ich vermeiden und deswegen hab ich mich ne Weile belesen und bin bei genau diesen Bandagen gelandet. Nach 1 Woche reduzierte sich der Erguss deutlich und nach 3 Wochen waren meine Knie wieder normal "geformt". Die Bandage hat die Knie eben stabil gehalten und durch das Material wurde der Stoffwechsel soweit aktiviert, dass die Flüssigkeit durch Drainage abtransportiert wurde. Es stand do beschrieben, und genau! So hat es, zumindest bei mir, auch funktioniert!!! Ich bin froh,dass ich sie habe, in Zukunft trage ich sie immer schon während ungewohnter andauernder Tätigkeiten. Man muss sich daran gewöhnen, aber die Einschränkung durch den Erguss war so groß, das mich das Tragen nicht gestört hat. Mittlerweile habe ich mir auch die Lendenwirbelbandage gekauft...genau so super!

One of the best and longer last

Great brace recommended by my orthopedic surgeon. Goes above and beyond the standard knee sleeve. Excellent support, soft and not uncomfortable at all. I've tried many having gone through three knee surgeries. This is by far the best I've ever tried. Great support, physically and mentally.

This is my second baurefiend brace. I got this (my second) after partially tearing my MCL while practicing BJJ. It is amazing, I can wear it as much as I want without getting uncomfortable or digging in...and it provides just enough compression and support to help me still get around. Fantastic. I highly recommend this brace to anyone that is looking for a washable, comfortable, and highly effective knee brace!
