Easy to assemble ( who reads instructions
Husband 'clicked to buy' based entirely on price without reading the reviews. Have a shed load of his 'bargain' tools that don't work! HOWEVER, this little mower is a cracker. Easy to assemble ( who reads instructions, anyway!), went on first pull and has continued to do so on each of the many occasions it has been used. Purchased for some rough areas around the farm which it handles with ease. Priced so reasonably it would owe us nothing if it only lasted a season. Somehow I think she will be here for a few years. The delivery was super-quick too. ALL TOGETHER A GREAT LITTLE MACHINE.

Heavy to manoeuvre when not under powered drive.
Initially from new engine was difficult to start (after 2 months this has improved). Powered drive only appears to have single speed (fairly fast) so some care is needed. Manual use is very heavy, e.g. when mowing small areas or turning around. The grass collector has been designed with an open weave top so grass pollen etc. is free to escape the collector towards the user (I now wear mask and goggles). Cutting results are good and product appears to be reliable.

A quality machine that could last for years, here’s hoping!!
It was easy to put together and does a good job. It is not a heavyweight so will nottackle a field, but for my patch fantastic, so far!! It has the ingredients for a long lastingmachine. Well done Webb.

Does a good job
A little bit on heavy side, not too good at starting, goes a little to fast for me to keep up with it

Poor starter
Thought Webb was a quality product but I was mistaken. The mower needs to be restarted after stopping to empty grass collector. Unfortunately restarting requires several pulls of the starting cord which is quite heavy compared to others. Also the outlet to the grass collector blocks frequently requiring clearing before the mower will again collect grass; this is particularly frustrating.

Not a good start to this relationship, then things got better....but finally, it all turned to worms....
Not a good start to this relationship... I follow the procedure, filling the oil, filling the fuel, pull and pull the starter....... and nothing! I am going to be generous here, with my grass growing by the minute, and assume that this is an abberation. I expect that Webb have the odd gremlin and that my replacement on Monday will work first time. We await results, but I am not happy......Later: Well, things improved, although we had a few glitches. After I wrote this review, I noticed that the mower had dropped by £35 in price. (Is this related to my review I wonder?) So, not being stupid, I cancelled my replacement and bought another one. Then, a few hours later Amazon said on a Saturday evening - "could not cancel in time". This on an item not due for delivery until Monday? So the DPD man brought me two new mowers and as I needed a box to return the duff one, I then had three! (Don't ask why I needed another box please). I am a bit happier now two mowers have finally gone. So, the new mower works. It was a pig to start first time (don't let the fuel run out is the message from that), but just fine after that. It is just the right size for my downsized garden and is a little easier to manoeuvre than the monster I did own. Not 100% happy with the cut, but the grass was very long by the time I took delivery and the rain stopped finally. Who knows, I might repost this a a "rave" review in the end.AS time went by, I was increasingly unhappy with the cut, which left ridges of uncut grass on the right. I have to fold the mower to get it in my small tool shed. After a couple of foldings, I noticed that the sheathed cables were both deformed, and that cannot be fixed! The folding did not work unless you were super careful! Then, the drive assembly (levers) fell off as I unfolded the mower. No reason, just fell off! I am not a technical dimwit, but putting that mess back on defeated me - and the instruction book was worse than useless.Game over! I contacted Amazon and we agreed this mower was not for me. Poor cut, too heavy and deeply unreliable. Gone for refund. My advice, pay a bit more and buy a Mountfield. Webb used to be a good name ... not any more.

Great price and great performer.
After a very expensive Mountfield mower slowly fell to bits over a number of years and eventually died, I was looking for a self-propelled mower at a reasonable price. I would have purchased this Webb mower last year when the old one mowed it's last but it was out of stock at the time. There followed a never to be repeated experiment with electric hover mowers (2 of). I'll cut the story of this distressing experiment short by stating that it ended with me in the garden, shaking my fist at the sky, shouting "never again". You can see I was very motivated. The Webb mower arrived and, not wanting to get my hopes up too high, I remained calm and put it together. This was pretty easy although I mention there were 2 of us to put the handles together - don't know if anyone has worked out a system for doing this solo. Also easy to put the oil and petrol in - these are both easy to identify and access.Taking the mower out for a first spin I found the cord somehow lighter/easier to pull than the old monster I used to use and the experiment ended with me leaping around the garden shouting "it works, it really works!".The mower is light and easy to manoeuvre, has 7 easy to adjust cutting heights and I have found it a joy to use.I gave the Mountfield and those hovers a very dismissive look on the way into the house.Would recommend to anyone wondering about how good it could be at this price - Answer is "Very Good".

Nice wee mower - easy to store & transport & operate.
Difficult to rate when asked so early after receiving the mower, however, I can say that it was easy to assemble, worked first time and seems to be a great wee mower. Only used for testing so far but very impressed. Arrived sooner than expected. So far, would recommend.
