These work really well for holding stock against the fence on a table saw or router table, but it is tough to use them on the fence to hold down stock to the table. You'll likely need to buy or make your own taller secondary fence to hold down stock. Not the fault of these featherboards, it's just that most stock fences don't have t-track style slots high enough to allow these to be installed and hold down anything more that like 1/8" stock. You'll need a taller fence to hold down anything larger. The eva foam is awesome. Lots of grip, stiffer than you'd think for eva foam, and the body does have a lot of room for adjustment.

I needed a set as a beginner and I think they work quite well. They keep the board where I want it and were easy for me to set up. I like the color as I can easily find them in my disaster of a work shed!
