J&D Case Compatible for Pixel 2 Case, Wallet Stand Slim Fit Heavy Duty Protective Shock Resistant Flip Cover Wallet Case for Google Pixel 2 Wallet, Not for Google Pixel 2 XL, Black

I previously had the Nexus 5 and purchased a similar case for that, folding wallet like this one.Although there's not a lot of difference between these two, the differences are noticable.Firstly the good points. There's a little more space along the spine, so credit cards transferred from my old to new case don't push against the magnetic lock to 'pop' it. There's a nice touch of having a window for your driving license or business cards, or if you're a softy, a photo of your cat! Also, the 'squeeze' feature of the Pixel 2 still works when inside the plastic holder.Not so useful. It comes with a strap. Not sure why you'd want to swing your phone around by a strap, especially if you have it full of credit cards - accident waiting to happen IMHO.Don't like. When in the plastic holder, the buttons on the Pixel 2 are quite difficult to reach, fortunately the Pixel 2 has a double-tap or fingerprint that also opens the phone. But for the volume buttons, they are really quite difficult to feel and you have to dig into the recesses to get to them. This also means the 'quick camera' (double power switch tap) feature isn't as easily got at and you might miss your photo opportunity as a result (at least this is why the Pixel 2 introduced such a feature).Not sure about. The last part is that on my Nexus case, the flap that closes the case would fold back on itself and attach to the outside of the case, on this one it doesn't - not a big deal, just found it a nice feature. Also the fingerprint reader is a little too recessed (think that there's a leather case, then a plastic holder, then your phone); not exactly difficult to get to, but you'll end up having to do your fingerprints from all sorts of weird angles to get in there.All in all, happy with the case (just a bit of getting familiar with it!), the NFC blocker is a good feature (so means I can throw my portable NFC blocker card away (so more space in the wallet), it looks pretty elegant and best of all, it will stop scratches in your pocket! The 'deepness' of the wallet gives it a sturdy feel, but does interupt the easy use of Pixel 2's features.

Ticked all the boxes. Quality build and finish, access to buttons, landscape stand, room for 6 cards in 3 slots, and fits UK £10 and £5 notes without folding or crushing, although you do have to stick your fingers into the money slot and carefully prise apart apart the partially bonded layers to expand the slot at the top end, but this seemed to work at ok. It is good that there is plenty of space along the spine as this means the notes don't get crushed when closing, and saves me carryng a wallet as well . Don't mind the extra size for that reason. The finger print button is a bit harder to access, but that's the phone designs fault. I take it out if using a lot. The strap was superfluous to me, but no harm done, just detached it. With a recon Pixel 2 for around £100, this combo is a winner for me.

Case looks good, feels very sturdy and offers a decent amount of protection. Main problem is that the power and volume buttons are quite difficult to press now as the case around the phone is quite thick. Also it can be quite difficult trying to juggle reaching for the fingerprint scanner whilst using one handed but that's not too much of an issue

This case has a very large gap between the inside edge and the enclosure the phone sits in. When the case is closed you could easily slide a pen all the way through the case. As a result the case feels a lot bulkier than others I have tested and it was too big to fit comfortably in my pocket. As a result I will be sending this back and looking for a smaller case.

Well made, robust, provides good protection
