Titan Universal CPU Cooler

I found this cooler extremely easy to fit. I'm running an AMD system so I had to remove the push-clip legs (couple of screws for each leg), and then fit the AMD clip which was just a case of dropping it in and securing with a plastic grommet. The sink is quite tall, but should fit in most tower cases unless you have a particularly deep side fan assembly.In operation, the fan is fairly quiet but manages to move a lot of air due to it's deep fin design. My system has an intake fan directly in line with the cooler which helps to push air through, and after a few days cycle the thermal grease had cured nicely and my system now idles at around the 30 degree mark.

This heatsink it pretty tiny by modern standards, however I've had it in a mild gaming rig for over 10 years without fault or failure. If you can pick one up 2nd hand for older sockets, go for it!

I can type again , now that I have re-gained the feeling on my thumbs!!!As a product? Faultless. I have been using this cooler for 4 years. Quiet, reliable.I just got lazy with the cleaning and I thought to buy a new one. Christ Almighty!!!!It is SO tricky to install!!!What is wrong with a couple of screws guys??The clip-ons are very tough to press and to get them to sit correctly, it took me foreverto manage to sort them out.For whom about to buy this: Clip the clips diagonally, practice with your old fan or if you just bought this onestudy its clip-on structure.It's not complex, bit it will take a few goes until installed.Once installed , it is a dream to run, extremely quiet.

This cooler is also marketed as the "Super Quiet 22dBA Triple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler". It certainly lives up to it's name as it's so quiet and, it does a good job of keeping my i5 3570K CPU cool. It is a big chunk of metal so avoid sudden movements if carrying the system case. More details available on my video review here https://youtu.be/sVlTsrb2QZkI have worked in the past with other coolers as the Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 but this was the 1st time i have tested one of the Titan's available air cooling solutions.I must say that for the needs of this particular build its more than enough, a totally overkill but i achieved the goal which was to have a silent cpu cooler.On the other hand if you have a more demanding CPU like a I5 or I7 i would not go for this cpu as it will be noisy when pushed by a powerful cpu.Things i did Like The Most:- Silent in Low Operation- Easy to Install (except the Fan)Things I Did Like The Less:- The Fan is Awkward to Attach- Extremely Noisy when pushed compared to the Hyper Evo 212

This is a good heatsink, there is no doubt about that but if you are thinking of purchasing this item there are just a couple of things to take note of.Firstly this heatsink is very large and this makes it awkward to fit, lining up the holes and making sure the heatsink is mounted properly are tricky, I ended up having to remove my motherboard to do it to my satisfaction.Secondly the fan clips onto the side of the heatsink, the long metal clips can be hard to reattach if they come off, which they probably will. I spent more time putting the fan on the cooler than actually mounting the cooler.On the plus side the cooler is quiet and effective running a good 10 - 20 degrees cooler than the bulk cooler that came with my i7 2600kOn the whole good value for money. Just be patient.

Dieser Kühler eignet sich sehr gut für yATX und ITX-Gehäuse, da er kaum über die Ecken des Sockels hinausgeht. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei und die Montage schnell erledigt.Die mitgelieferte Wärmeleitpaste macht ihren Job sehr gut, ist allerdings viel zu flüssig. Hier läuft man schnell Gefahr, sich durch Unvorsichtigkeit und zu viel Druck das Mainboard oder noch schlimmer den Sockel mit einem Klecks WLP zu versauen.Die Kühlleistung ist einwandfrei. In meinem ITX-Server ( Bitfenix Prodigy ) hält dieser Kühler ohne Lüfter (!) einen Intel Celeron G1610 auf rund 32-37°C je nach Auslastung ( gemessen mit CoreTemp ). Dabei wird er nur indirekt durch einen 120mm Gehäuselüfter an der Rückwand belüftet.

Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, facile da installare, istruzioni in tante lingue, compreso italiano, temp. 38°C circa su CPU PC LGA 775.

Il prodotto aveva chiaramente indicato tra le caratteristiche di essere compatibile con socket LGA 2011 ma non è vero. La versione compatibile è un'altra e il fornitore non la ha a catalogo. Dovrò quindi restituire l'articolo e aspettare il rimborso.

Ich habe mir diesen Lüfter als Ersatz für den original Lüfter meines i7s gekauft.Leider erwies sich der Einbau als recht kompliziert. In der Vergangenheit habe ich bereits ein paar Dutzend CPU-Lüfter montiert, aber keiner hat sich so sehr gegen seinen Einbau geweigert wie dieser hier.Aber nachdem er erstmal am Platz ist läuft er rund und es gibt soweit noch keine Beschwerden. Die Lautstärke ist auch angemessen und unterscheidet sich, soweit ich das feststellen kann, nicht von vergleichbaren Lüftern.
