Bought these to try and compensate for the lack of vitamin D as we are supposed to receive a certain amount from the non existent sunshine this time of year . Hoping it can deal with certain skin problem.

Vitamin D3 capsules of the highest quality
Most Vitamin D3 is supplied in very small tablet form. That means that they can stick to the inside of one's mouth & start dissolving there. The Pharma-Nord product is much better as it comes as small hard gelatine capsules & they are easily popped out of the foil & are easily swallowed. Another, very important fact about Vitamin D3 is that it needs some dietary fat to be digested properly. These capsules have this important vitamin suspended in a small amount of olive oil (vegetable fat) inside the capsules, so they are probably more effective than other products.Vitamin D3 is now being recognised as THE most important vitamin food supplement as lack of it is implicated in many health problems, especially respiratory diseases & bone density problems. If you live in Northern Europe & especially if you spend most of your life indoors, you would be well advised to take at least one or two of these capsules daily, all year round. That is because the main alternative source of vitamin D is generated by the sun hitting the skin. Many British people are deficient in Vitamin D.My wife & I will certainly stick to buying this product in future.

These capsules contain vitamin D that I combine with magnesium due to my family history in the female line of osteoporosis. I also have an illness which puts me a greater risk of osteoporosis. Women are at more risk of osteoporosis but some men can suffer from it too but it doesn`t appear to be hereditary in men. Vitamin D is known as the `sunshine vitamin` , I don`t spend much time in the sunshine so that is the reason I take these vitamin/minerals. The vast majority of people don`t need to take these supplements as they are able to get enough of them from regular exposure to daylight..

Great replacement for prescription meds
Started taking this brand when my local PCT stopped giving it to me on prescription (life time meds following an op ). Purchased first lot 2 months ago from my chemist,they are easy to take and very good value for money. So happy that i found them on amazon and they are slightly cheaper! win win situation. 😊
