Olay Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover - 100 ml

My favourite makeup remover. Still very saddened they discontinued this in shops like Superdrug, sainsburys and boots. Wish I knew why?can only get it online & it’s more expensive. This is the best makeup remover out of every other makeup remover I have used. It removes makeup quick and is non greasy. It doesn’t sting like most other makeup removers & moisturises my skin nicely.

I bought this as I became a fan of Olay products, but I'm slightly disappointed in this product. It is not bad, but it does require quite a bit of rubbing if you're wearing any more than a single layer of non-waterproof mascara. On the days I used just a coat of it, it came off without any trouble, but when I had heavier eye make up (shadow, eyeliner, 2-3 coats of mascara) it took 2 rounds of rubbing and rinsing and often I would still wake up with the black glob in my eyes. Not bad if you don't use a lot of make up, but if you to, prepare to work to take it off with this product.

Olay Essentials Cleansing Scrub is good for daily use, it removed make up well and left my skin clean. It's gentle on the skin, I didn't find the beads harsh. However, I do prefer Olay Thermal Polisher which is warming on the skin but is no longer available to buy :(

This was the one and only cream which effectively and easily removed eye make up. Why on earth Procter & Gamble discontinued it beats me. There was such a hue and cry from the public, many hundreds of people complained to no avail. It was, however, being sold on line from other countries and I, like others, bought up stocks where we could. My daughters use it as do many friends. I wish a petition could be put forward to Procter & Gamble for its return, or at least hundreds and hundreds of letters. There is no other cream like it.

I ordered based on the advert and picture of the product. The 2 items arrived with the Olaz brand and in a foreign language for the text. This caused embarrassment as it appeared to my partner that I'd bought off a car boot stall.

It isn't often I write a bad review, but there is nothing about this product to recommend it.I wear liquid eyeliner and non-waterproof mascara but nothing too heavy, and this doesn't get rid of it easily. It takes a fair bit of rubbing and strategic wiping, sometimes using cotton buds to get into the lash line. I think these things are to do with the consistency of the product, which is quite goopy so the lashes don't get soaked and so makeup doesn't get dissolved in it like with more liquidy eye makeup removers.The fact that scrubbing is essential gives rise to the other problem, which is that it really stings if it gets in your eyes.Even with a lot of scrubbing, there is always remnants.It gets one star because even though it's cheap, it is still more expensive than supermarket own brands, while also being less effective and less eye-friendly.

Have used this product for many years and find it removes eye makeup easily and is gentle on the skin. Very pleased to find it online

Product arrived well packaged ahead of time.Just thinking I could have done with a larger tube as quite a lot of product needed to remove stubborn mascara etc.
