A removable/adjustable shoulder strap features a non-slip patch and sturdy snaphooks make connections secure. Inside the fully padded interior, a soft tricot lining provides protection, plus a high-visibility burnt orange colour making it easy to see gear while you work out of the bag. Additional organisation features include: zippered front pocket with memory card storage, padded grab handle and two pleated side pockets. Two belt loops provide an added carrying option on the 170 model.

Lowepro Adventura 170
I recently changed my Panasonic GX7 for the GX8. This is slightly bigger body than the GX7. The bag I was using was the Lowepro Event Messenger 100. The GX7 with an Olympus 12-40 , a Panasonic 20mm f1.7 and the 45-175 fitted well. A nice small and lightweight bag.As I needed a slightly larger bag I bought from Amazon a canvas bag, A Caden. Very cheap but not that suitable for a camera bag . Having used it for a bit I realised its shortcomings. It's heavy, the canvas is water repellent but there are gaps all over the bag. Its really a general purpose bag with a camera insert. Also one of the snap fasteners broke within three days of use.So I did some research and ordered a Lowepro Adventura 170. This is an older model. It's a bit larger than the Event 100 and everything fits well. including a small flash unit. The GX8 does not have a built in flash. Its also very light. 0.4 kg. It's not waterproof, you need the AW models for that , but should be shower resistant.I

Pleased with this bag.
This review is for the 160.This was smallest I could find that would take my Pana Lumix FZ200 with lens hood attached, Metz 44AF-1 flash, and larger Gorillapod, plus the odd battery and polarising filter etc. The internal dimensions quoted are not correct, the dimensions of my bag are: Width 190mm, Height 160mm, Depth 120mm. The padding is thick and firm,and is of uniform thickness in the sides,and the top and bottom. My only reservation is with the plastic snap on attachments that fix the strap to the bag.They seem to be strong enough but time will tell. The camera fits in with the lenshood attached pointing down, the flash fits to the left of the camera, and the Gorillapod fits with the legs folded to the right(see pics). Each one is easily removed as required. The partitions are held in place with strong velcro and the bag can be configured in several different ways to hold the same equipment. This way suites me best. Would recommend, but be quick, may be out of production now as I couldn't find any UK source so bought this from Germany, no problems here,arrived within 4 days after dispatch well packed.

Lots of room for Canon Powershot SX50 and extras
Searched all the high street stores for this model. I wanted a bag for our new Canon Powershot SX50 and various other things like spare battery, charger and instruction book. The shaped ones were a perfect fit for the camera but not the accessories and some larger ones didn't have dividers (which this does, 2, but doesn't say so). It also has a zip and fastening so that you can leave it closed for carrying but with the zip open for quick access. The pocket on the front fits all the small bits and the instructions fit in the pocket on the back, so all-in-all, it's exactly what I wanted and at a good price. Well made, strong and neat. Now I just need to learn how to use the camera!

Not as big as quoted.
I have had previous Lowepro bags for years so I expected good quality, and it is - I needed one for my new Sony alpha 77 mark 2 - according to the quoted measurements for the bag, it should fit - but it doesn't! Well, the body alone does, but not with even a small lens on. I think the size quoted (17.5 x15 x19.5cm) is external (which I had assumed, and allowed for) but they must have taken in both the side pouches and the handle on the top! The inside of the lid measures 15cm x 10.5cm and the depth barely 16cm - the inside of the body looks smaller due to the thick padding, but of course that would squash, I am keeping it because my DSC-H400 fits perfectly as it has a fixed lens. I have ordered the large Amazon basic gadget bag which will I hope do the job

A good quality camera bag.
The bag is very well made, although the plastic clasps for attaching the shoulder strap feel a little flimsy. Be aware that it would struggle to hold a large DSLR and zoom lens of over 300mm. The interior is adjustable to suit ones needs and there are plenty of pockets to hold accessories. Conclusion;- I am pleased with it, but if purchasing again, I would go for a slightly larger product.

Excellent bag - lightweight and very padded!
I love this bag, but I must warn people looking at buying a Lowepro camera bag to do a good bit of invesigative work on the Lowepro website as to the exact bag for your camera as they are a very snug fit. This bag keeps your camera, memory cards and batteries safe and sound and I don't worry about my camera getting bashed about as this bag is so well padded whilst being very lightweight.Very highly recommended ;-)

Ideal for basic amount of equipment.
Excellent quality, fits DSLR with 2 lenses ( in my case 1x 18-55mm and 70-300mm) and battery charger with plenty of padding to protect your kit. Fixed carry handle and removable shoulder strap. Also there is 2 fixed loops on back so you can fix it to a belt and have easy hands free access. Front access zip pocket for leads, SD cards etc.all on all it's a lovely bit of kit to keep the possessions safe and dry.

exactly what I needed for my canon eos 1000d, enough room for camera, lenses, batteries,2 water bottles if needed,plus the bonus of being waterproof.arrived promptly well packed,would use again many thanks.
