Bodymax 24kg Kettlebell Cast Iron

I made the mistake of ordering vinyl covered KBs early on, which were promptly returned for proper cast iron bells. These Bodymax KBs are fantastic value for money, and actually better than the photos make them out to be.There is little to tell you about the KBs - they are a single piece of cast iron, with a well-sized handle. They have a slightly dimpled, but smooth finish with no seams, so you shouldn't get any unnecessary callouses. They have their weight clearly imprinted on them, in a contrasting white paint. KBs are (or at least, should be) unfussy, functional items and the Bodymax certainly are, but they are also excellent value for money.I have seen poorer quality KBs cost twice as much. Save your money - if you want KBs, these won't "just do", they're perfect. I have two Bodymax KBs - at 20 and 24Kg. I also have a Marcy-made 32Kg and a 16Kg from another make. You can see these all side-by-side in the uploaded photos and I would say that the Bodymax are undoubtedly the best value. The 32Kg Marcy has a better finish and the 16Kg version is clearly a step or two down in terms of final quality, although it is perfectly fine for swinging about.For anyone interested in KB exercises, I cannot fault the Bodymax and would recommend them without a moment's hesitation. Great quality and value.

Putting aside the function of a kettlebell for one moment, this Bodymax product is simply a beautiful object - it looks incredible in real life. The handle size is large and comfortable. Do not be fooled by the many colourful kettlebells out there - silly rubber bases, vinyl coating and other fancy thrills. This product is absolutely ideal for its function - it is a perfectly balanced cannonball and has been finished to a fine quality. This will stand this test of time - you will not regret buying this.

Mines just arrived. Handles are big kinda fat, great for grip strength. I know people are worried about having shovel hands but this will be fine (fellow spade hander here)The things it's self is solid. Looks intimidating. Can't waitOver all better than the other kettle bells I've seen/used. 10/10. What more can I say about a lump of iron with a handle?

I wanted some fairly heavy kettlebells for farmers walks and these fitted the bill perfectly. They are a good price compared to others and with shipping included I’m impressed. My 24Kgs don’t weigh exactly 24Kg but they are near enough at 23.6Kg. When you’re lugging that weight 400g is not noticeable. I’m looking forward to getting some heavier ones.

Colour is grey/charcoal and not black like the 16kg I previously ordered. The quality is SO poor compared to the 16kg too. I thought this was a one off issue so ordered a replacement. This was as bad as the first one so I have sent them both back. Very rough finish which would tear your hands to shreds and also VERY rough bottom so will wreck any type of flooring. Stay clear of this one.

I like the kettlebell it is exactly what you would imagine a kettlebell to be however, I overestimated my capacity to lift it... Perhaps I’ll start with push ups and work my up to it.

The handle is a bit tight for two hands. Otherwise does the job.

I was originally looking for a Dragons Door kettlebell and came to realise they are pretty much only available in the US, where they are also twice the price of this Bodymax Kettlebell ex shipping. The Bodymax is essentially the same: cast iron, thick solid handle, robust and balanced.Simply put there is no fault to be found with this Kettlebell. It's a lump of iron that weighs 24kg, and it leaves me gasping for air whilst laying in the foetal position. Sure it came with a couple of little marks on it (to be expected from anything cast from iron or steel) and if this bothers you then you don't deserve to own a Russian military standard 24kg cast iron kettlebell.This bell is all you need, and at an astonishing low price of around £35 for something that can last a lifetime I really don't think you can go wrong.

J'ai acheté une kettlebell de 24kg.La poignée est assez large pour la tenir à deux mains. Comme je vis par et pour le swing (ou balancier pour les francophones extrémistes) à deux mains, c'est bien pratique. Si vous voulez une kettlebell proche de celles de compétition, passez votre chemin en revanche.Peut aussi faire office d'excellent cale-porte.

Je l'ai pesé et le mien fais 24,8 kg,il est solide et a une bonne prise en main....Bref du bon matos....

Il kettlebell visto il costo è più che buono ma l' impugnatura è troppo grande e la mano non riesce a chiudersi come dovrebbe. Nonostante il materiale leggermente poroso in un esercizio tipo lo swing c' è il rischio che parte di mano.I Kettlebell professionali hanno tutti la stessa impugnatura a prescindere dal peso mentre questi no... pazienza lo userò per gli squat o le trazioni zavorrate!
