USB-C to HDMI Adapter 4K (Black)

I have purchased several rather expensive muti-adapters - mostly around $50-60 and they work well. But this one does not. I tried it first on my Del monitor and the message came loud and clear - this device cannot achieve the frequency needed to operate a high res monitor on the HDMI port. So, that was not good. I then tried to charge my Iphone from the USB C port and nothing! It did not have the appropriate standard to even do that. I did get the USB port to work on a printer, but the bottom line, is that these cheap adapters simply dont work on MacBooks. I suspect that Apple sets very high electronic standards (ie capacitance, resistance, etc) for their ports and most companies dont bother to meet them. So I would say, that if you are going to use this on a Macbook, don't buy it - maybe it will work on a windows computer but I did not try that.

The unit mostly does what it says EXCEPT that the USB-C plug that goes into the computer is very hard to insert and unplug. I feared that in the long run it would damage the USB-C connector inside the computer so I did not want to use the device. I gave a extra star because the merchant was quick to respond.

Bought this to use as an HDMI adapter for my Surfacebook 2 to my TV. Worked how it should until it didn't. Just stopped working about 3 months later with no physical damage. HDMI still works as its the same one I use for my PS4 but the adapter just isn't reading.

This product broke after 3 months of use, I do not recommend this product to anyone since buying this will save you money but its of very poor quality and you have to continuously adjust the cables for this adapter to work.
