Spigen Slim Armor CS Designed for Google Pixel 2 XL Case (2017) - Black

I love this case. It protects my phone, and I've had it for almost a year now, and the worst it has to show for is only some cosmetic damage from me dropping it so many times. The slide function works great, it's still smooth and stays closed tightly, just as it did the day I bought it. It outlived my first Pixel, as I had to have it replaced for a defect, and it's still going strong. I keep my school ID, driver's license, and debit card in it, which technically is over the two card limit, but it still shuts securely and slides open with no problem. I have a pop socket on the back, which is stuck on the slide case, and I fidget with it all the time, popping it out and shutting it, sliding the card slot open and closed repeatedly, and it's still fine. Worth the $17.99 hands down. The only qualm I have is that I wish it came in colors, and had a matte material option, because it shows finger prints. But I'm willing to overlook that for the quality.

I'm always looking to consolidate as many things as possible, so a wallet/phone case hybrid was an obvious purchase for my new Pixel 2 XL. Having used many Spigen cases in the past, I can confidently say that this one is no different. It lives up to the quality, comfort, and thinness that the others do, all while providing an invaluable function of holding up to two credit cards/IDs. The wallet function itself is pretty straight forward: It slides to the right, revealing the opening for (in my case) a credit card and driver's license. The sliding function is easy, and it closes firmly. There's no need to worry about it accidentally opening, as it stays in place securely. In terms of the physical appearance, the case was a little thicker than I expected, but it's still relatively thin compared to the limited competition. Overall, 5/5. If you're looking to get a phone case of this type, stop reading and buy this one; you won't regret it.

I'd really give this 4.5 stars, but it is as described and protected my phone from two falls already.If you want your phone to feel slim, this case is not for you. If you want a solid case that will protect your phone and has a really nice secure card slot on it, now we're talking. It makes your phone decently thick, but I actually really like how the fingerprint sensor feels with the case on and the sliding draw stays firmly shut and is easy to use.Pros:- Protective, two layers. I've dropped it on concrete and its fine.- Comes slightly over the edge of the screen, so if you drop it face down it won't be shattered. I did managed to get a tiny scrape when it flew out of my pocket on concrete, but its not noticeable and is not the case's fault. The case protected it from dying into a million pieces.- Nice click to the card slot drawer. Easy to open with one finger too. I've had a lot of phones with card cases in the past and this one has been my favorite so far.- Fits at least 2 cards. I have my id and credit card and it fits those fine with a tiny bit of room yet. Slight bulge to the plastic drawer if you do two credit cards and your id. Two credit cards fit perfectly snug.- Fun deeply inset fingerprint reader. It is so easy to find, more than without the case.- Looks nice even though it's kinda thick- Buttons on the side feel great to press compared to my Google Earth caseCons:- Significantly thick. Just look at the picture of the case and how deeply inset the button and camera is. It makes the phone feel bigger and heavier- Fingerprint button becomes unusable if you have long nails. I keep mine trimmed but since it is inset I'd imagine someone with manicured long nails could not press it- Gets smudgy/scuffed and you'll see fingerprints. I recommend cleaning your phone often though, so if you wipe it down to remove germs you'll remove the fingerprints too.- Only fits two cards, I am fine with this but could be a con for somebody

This case has the usual quality of Spigen cases. Looks sleek and stylish. Seems sturdy too. Makes the phone bulky, but not as much as some other cases in the market. Provides good protection with enough lift when faced upside down to protect the screen. Card slot was able to easily hold 2 credit cards and a driver's license. The card seems totally inconspicuous and hence feels much safer. The surface of the case is slippery though and will definitely show finger marks within the first few hours.The card holder slider sometimes gets stuck half way and needs gentle handling to avoid accidentally breaking the slider. Hope this becomes smoother by more usage.

This case is pretty useful. The card compartment on the back is something I didn't know I wanted so badly until I started using it. I now carry my debit card and license in there at all times and usually end up leaving my wallet at home. The case feels pretty durable and my phone has survived a number of 4 and 5 feet drops in it. My only complaint is that the hard outer shell does scratch pretty easily. I have it in a pocket where I clip a walkie-talkie on at work, and just the light rubbing against the plastic clip has scratched up the back pretty good, where other previous cases didn't scratch or scuff with the same interaction. It's not a deal breaker though. Overall I recommend this case.

I'm like Snoop Dogg with my phone, droppin it like it's hot all day. Really though, I drop my phone at least once a day, on cement, concrete, tile, you name it. Ordered this case with the phone brand new a year ago and NOT A SCRATCH. Okay the case is a little scratched, but my phone is brand new out of the case. People freak out when they see a phone dropped. I've picked it up and thrown it back on the floor on several occasions to show that this CASE IS A REAL ONE!! The sides of the case are a little higher than the screen, which makes it darn near impossible for the screen to touch the ground. Also the little compartment for credit cards is a lifesaver! I've never forgotten/lost my CC or ID because I always have it iny phone case. It easily holds 2 cards, and I usually have 3 cards and a bill in there. Not sure if they sell these for iPhones, but they should because the number of people walking around with cracked iPhone screens is just wild. Anyway 10/10 would recommend!

Es un buen protector pero es muy robusto, si quieres algo más delgado y estilizado no es tu mejor opción. Protege bien al teléfono y no parece que sea muy delicado anti arañazos pero con el tiempo se verá. el compartimiento para tarjetas no la utilizó con ese fin pero pues está allí por si lo necesitas. El acceso a la huella también es fácil de acceser. En general un buen case como la mayoria de los productos Spigen pero algo caro para lo que ofrece.

This is a great phone cover. It's strong but light and not overly bulky. I can keep two debit cards in it easily. The kids have dropped my phone a good few times and thankfully this case has been superb. I do dismantle it every now and then to clean it as I notice food (prob from the toddlers grubby hands) gets stuck in some ridges. Other than that I am finding it brill.

Excellent case !It is a great way to store driver lic and credit card. I can go to the gym and not have to bring my wallet, this would be great for joggers, etc. It has a great feel in the hands, not slippery, this feels secure in the hands. I like how the edge of the case is higher than the glass front, this should give it some protection from a fall. I installed a metal plate for my magnet disk in my car and it works great. This is thick and adds weight, I really like it, but not for everyone, When there is a situation where I need extra protection, I always use this case. I highly recommend this case.
