Great for a quick lunch

Love this bento box! Been using it regularly about 6 months and it's held up great. Microwave and dishwasher safe (though I take off/hand wash the lids for fear of warping). Holds more food than it looks like--pic is rice, two scrambled eggs, and some corn, but I've packed in a lot of dense food that's not fluffy like eggs--and the fact that it stands up vertically makes it great to put in the bottom of a backpack or purse. Just make sure you can eat whatever you pack with chopsticks, unless you plan to bring other utensils!

This product looks cute. The size is smaller than I expected. Its nice to use it for snack food or for children's meal, but it is not large enough for an adult meal.

It’s pretty busy where I work and I don’t really have time to just go and get food, or even heat it up for the matter. 13 year old me would have been delighted to get such a cute lil thing. Super convenient for my life style and so CUTE

Very cute, loving the chopsticks. They are very helpful. Also bought some reusable food picks and silicone cupcake molds to assist with organization. The top portion comes with a moveable divider.

I've always wanted a cute two tier obento box that was affordable, and I love this one and am glad I bought it. It's a children's obento box, so the chopsticks that come with it are child sized but I have tons of chopsticks anyway so I just use one of my pairs of adult sized chopsticks. Again, it's a children's obento box so it's small compared to most adult sized obento boxes, but I love the size. I put rice in the top tier and then I put the side dishes in the bottom tier. The tsuki usagi design is super cute and it's super easy to clean, I just rinse it and stick it in the dish washer. There is a seal to put over the top tier to seperate the tier from the decorative lid. It is leak proof, I've put saucy spicy ramen in it and it didn't leak, but don't put soup or other extremely watery foods in it, put those in a thermos, obento boxes aren't for putting soup in. The furoshiki bag is also super cute and overall I'm extremely satisfied with this authentic obento box and I recommend it.

I would not be exaggerating if I said this was maybe the cutes bento box I have ever bought. It compacts very well and comes with a small pair of chopsticks so I don't have to pack my own. The bag fits the bento box and usually something small next to it. EX: my bento box and my pretzels for today's lunch.HOWEVER, I have noticed a few small flaws. Immediately after washing it warped lightly and never sealed the same again. This is mostly fixed by the rubber band that holds the containers tight, but I personally would let the box rest upside down in fear of it leaking. It holds the perfect amount of food FOR ME, but not everyone is the same. Not a flaw but if you are a big eater I would not recommend it.

I was expecting a slightly bigger package when this arrived, but after filling it up with foods i realized it's actually quite generous with space! I've managed to fit in a rice bowl full of rice in the lower tier, and the top tier is deep enough to fit in generously filled gyoza's and thick tamagoyaki's! It is microwavable as well, although I keep it safe by unassembling it down to the red containers only and microwaving those parts just in case the separators warp and don't fit again.This definitely is enough to fill me up proper during lunch, and like most reviewers have confirmed, whilst it's not advertised as leakproof, I have had watery kimchi shoved in there haphazardly and it still kept its contents within when I ran to work!I have had plenty of colleagues ask me why I've been boujie with my lunches, but take a look at their corner shop sandwiches and look at my pack up again, and see who's really laughing here. :D

It took an understandable amount of time to arrive, all in original packaging from Japan. On the small side, but perfect for controlling portion size (plus you can pack a surprising amount in)! A shame it's not wider, but there are two layers so chopping things in half solves the problem usually.The divider and compact chopsticks are invaluable and the bag has received many compliments. Microwave safe too! Actual liquids are not usually intended for bento but things like potato salad haven't leaked yet- just definitely make use of the elastic or a separate tub if using leaky foods. Have been able to create plenty of new dishes since it arrived, my whole diet has been healthier. Thank you so much!

I was very doubting before purchasing this box, because I was worried about size, leakage, microwave safety and so on. However, when this box arrived, I fell in love. It looks small and cute, and a cutie bag... but actually, if you fill the whole level with a main dish, that's enough to feed you for one meal time. Upper level is slightly bigger (very convenient for storing). They can be used separately, what also is nice. And, what is truly important, they haven't let me down with a liquids. Ofc, there are no leakproof sealing, so I understand that I can't handle with soup or runny broth, but other sauces are ok. I expected something worse. In addition, its ok to heat box in microwave, just do it without a lid. (Never tried to do so, but have some thoughts thats it will end the life of the lid.)

I bought this for lunches at work and it’s delightful!! Other reviewers have said it’s too small - if you’ve got a large appetite, it may be worth packing a packet of crisps alongside but honestly, it holds a lot of food!! It’s the perfect amount of rice.
