I got this because I wanted something that would hold more food than a regular slotted spoon when serving or draining food from a pot. This is fantastic! It's large without being too large. It will hold at least 3 to 4 times the amount of a regular slotted spoon! And you know what that means - it's a lot faster & less wear & tear on your hands & wrists! It's fantastic for draining pasta, boiled potatoes, hard boiled eggs, veggies, etc.. It has become one of my favorite kitchen tools. Since it is metal, do be careful when using with non-stick pans. It is very sturdy & very well made, you will not be replacing it any time soon. It should last many, many years. I highly recommend this!

Well made with a long handle for frying safety. Like that I can hang this up in the cabinet, strains well and the materials are good quality. Also cute design if you’re looking to be functional and aesthetic.

I am pleased with the quality of this skimmer spoon. It performs as expected and I would purchase it again if I needed another one.

This do strong that I can fill the basket with freshly fried rocks with no chance of the handle bending.
