Comfratex 55cm Round Shower Mat - Dolphins

Very fast delivery from Quest - excellent service.This mat replaced a heavier duty rubbery circular mat which had split and which also had a tendency to develop black mould. It also smelled very rubbery for a week or two after first using.This Comfratex mat had absolutely no smeel from new - a good start. It is an attractive colour and design, without being overly bright. The main mat area is based on a flexible plastic mesh, overlaid with 5-6mm wide ribs, running continuously from one side to the other. These ribs seem to be formed of medium soft foam, encased in a plastic 'shell'. The net result is a light weight mat that is soft on the feet, yet feels reasonably able to withstand people standing on it in the constant wet conditions of a shower. It is not slippery underfoot. The ribs are soft enough that the suckers on the back are not troublesome to bare feet, though you can, of course tell that they are there. I find the soft suckers keep the mat in position well enough, though I can kick it around if I try. So I don't try! Because the suckers are not so numerous and sucky as some other mats, this one is easily able to be lifted and hung up to dry after showering. I like it quite a lot and feel it is excellent value for money at around £7.50.It has only been used a few times, as I write, so It remains to be seen how durable it will prove to be in the longer term. I might revisit this review in a few months or a year.UPDATE 11-Mar-201616 months since I last reviewed and still absolutely NO complaints. No smells, no mould, good as new.A really EXCELLENT purchase and that is rare!

The Patton started to wear off after few showers So not happy with product sad as I was looking for to giving it S gift as I did so embarrassed when told my granddaughter said rubbish as few showers pattern nearly gone should really claim money back

Really very pleased with this shower mat. The suction pads work well and there is a nice space between then for feet to stand comfortably. It dries easily, when hung up after use, and , so far, has maintained its colour with no fading. Would definitely buy again.

Ideal for the shower. Suction cups feel pronounced at first but don’t notice them once stood in the shower. Doesn’t hold the water so easy to use and keep clean.

I have had this item before and it lasted years. This time I had trouble making it stick and stay stuck. First time it was washed most of the colour faded out. Inferior quality to the one I had before. I have thrown it away.

Needed for our round caravan shower, this was the second one we have bought and it lasts about two years. Absolutely perfect and excellent value for money. Only one I have found that fits, looks good, is well made and feels good.

It was my own fault that I made a mistake in the measurements as I thought it would be bigger, having said that I got this so an elderly relative wouldn't slip in the shower however the suckers obviously aren't that effective because it does move when you step on to it, and ruffles up. The 3 stars are for the texture as it feels lovely to stand on and the pattern. But it obviously doesn't suit all shower floors.
