Good product but expensive

This isn't Ceylon Cinnamon, but just sticks. They don't smell or taste of anything - just bland. This is totally rubbish and I want my money back!

Didn’t even realise there were two types of cinnamon, Cassia and Ceylon (Sri Lanka) … only became aware having watched some YouTube vids. It seems Cassia can become toxic to the liver unlike Ceylon. Ceylon has a milder taste, a little more sweeter / smoother than the cassia, which has a sharper, stronger maybe a little more bitter undertone to it .. imo that is!

Very Impressed! This is the real deal cinnamon sticks. If you have the other fake kind that is deep reddish brown and strong in scent, get rid of them and buy these. Upon opening the package of these there is zero cinnamon smell. They also don't taste like anything if you give one a lick. But if you bite a piece of and start chewing it....WOW! it is an explosion of that cinnamon taste you love without being over powering. It's more of a smooth mellow and spicy flavor. Definitely a difference from the fake kind. These ones get soft quick when soaked in hot water, like for tea and add great flavor. The flavor is IN the bark, not sprinkled on manufactured rolled up pieces of "bark" like the fake kind. Highly recommend

These are exactly what they describe themselves to be. Remember that this product is best used fresh, so avoid buying large quantities unless you plan to freeze them and vacuum pack them. The cinnamon has the same base flavor as other types of cinnamon, but on top of that, a bit more of that flavor one finds in red hot candies without that intense heat. I would use these on top of something or in a beverage, and use the other types of cinnamon inside a baked goods, so you'll get the best of the flavor.
