Great sprayer
Very easy to use. Love it. Have a large area to spray and it makes it easy to do. It pretty heavy when filled up. Battery lasts a very long time . I spray about 6 loads at a time. Battery is still like normal

Nice sprayer, pump failed in two months.
Nice compact sprayer. A huge improvement over the hand pump backpack I used for years. Battery lasts a long time. Shoulder harness is so-so and one clip broke right away. The lid is the handle which is kinda cool but makes it hard to move the unit while you are filling it with the lid off. The pump has quit with only 30 gallons or so sprayed. I have submitted warranty to Makita and I am waiting. I love this concept, but this is not a $300 sprayer. I am a loyal Makita owner, but I wish I had not purchased this one.

very pleased
This seems well built. I have had no issues and have run at least 60 gallons through it. No leaks. The straps seem well-made. A single battery lasts all day without losing a bar. $300 is a bit much, but everyone who is on this platform is used to paying a little bit more. and if you have the batteries, why not?

Pump just stopped working
I've been using this pump sprayer with success for 3 months until one day it just stopped working. I religiously clean everything after each use and make sure to push fresh water through everything. Troubleshooting the issue I'm cleaning out everything but cannot successfully get the pump to spray. I can hear the pump but nothing sprays in other words. I found nothing in the manual or online to fix this. Disappointed in this product even though I generally really like the makita line.

absolutely not worth $320
it is quite a tidy package. definately not as bulky as other backpacks I've used. and it does use the makita batteries. it is easy to use. other than that, definitely not worth the $$$. not very powerful. proprietary spray wand with electronics in the grip. the water line is inside a sleve with wires so, also not easily repairable. the plastics and build quality are not what I expect from makita. there are other options which are higher quality and for less $$$, that can also use makita batteries.

Makita
Only got this brand because it matches my batteries. If your not loyal to a specific brand. There are better ones out there.

I like it! Update: leaking handle
Got this 4 gallon sprayer because I already have all Makita LXT battery power/lawn tools and its decent. Coming from a chapin 4 gallon 20v, this is better. Doesn't leak as much, stands up while filling and lid is pretty easy to screw on/off. You have to have the shoulder strap on pretty tight for the back to fit comfortably in my experience. If I didn't already have Makita batteries, I would have gotten the alientabi /flozone brands. While there could be some improvements, its not bad!Update: After a year the wand leaks and suspect is the handle assembly.

Low quality
You’re looking at this because you have a bunch of Makita LXT tools. But this is really cheap considering it’s $300. ALL the plastic tips leak, the wand is flimsy and the wand holder on the tank is a joke. There are far better options for half the price, just won’t use your LXT battery. Also if you’re so lucky to get it from the same distributor I did, they will say two day delivery. But what they really mean is two week delivery.
