Good adapter for use in South Africa.

Used it on touring holiday in SA and very pleased with how useful it is. In most hotels you are lucky if you can find a single unused socket so with 2 mobiles, one tablet, one laptop that needed charging every night, plus camera batteries that need occasional charging, having one device that does it all is a godsend. Highly recommended.But at £26 it is no giveaway when you think that a basic 4 block extension can be had for about £5. I shall continue to get further use out of mine by chopping off the SA plug and replacing it with a UK plug. Would be good to hav a version with easily changeable plus so that I can use it on other foreign holidays.

Very good looking piece of kit but only two sockets work properly. One socket can be made to work by pulling the plug out but the fourth socket feels very stiff and does not work at all. I suppose I should return it but only found out when I first used it on a 5 week trip to SA.I have changed my scoring as the vendor contacted me and exchanged the travel adapter for a new one. I am unable to test it until I return to South Africa - unless I buy a UK to SA adapter to plug it into - but on the basis of the customer support I feel happy to award 4 stars.

Took this to Sri Lanka 2018 was great just plugged in we charged our phones plugged in our insect plug hairdryer every thing electrical we had so glad we invested in it

I bought two of these more on a buying rush than any good sense. They work fine, but you could do the job just as easy - or even better - by taking a four-way UK multiplug extension from Wilkinsons at, say, four quid, and then buy a single Uk to SA converter on arrival in South Africa for about two quid (or about three quid on Amazon plus postage). And you could still use the extension when you got back to the UK.A good idea, guys, but not really a sustainable market except for mamparras like me!

Great bit of kit for South Africa, most places have a socket you can then use 3 UK appliances and charge your phone and camera batteries at the same time.

Great product, really convenient. We were on safari in South Africa and had found it great for charging both our cameras and phones. Hassle free really recommend this, better to spend a little extra, it works well
