decent for a faux tree
This 5 ft ficus is decent for a faux tree. It takes a lot of shaping to get it to look right. I put it in a my own basket so you don't see the fake dirt and pot it comes in. From far away it looks pretty good. It's a good size and fits nicely in a corner . From up close the leaves do look fake but just put it somewhere where people wont get close. i have it in a corner of my bedroom by a window, it looks great there.

Love it!
I recently purchased the 4-Foot Fiddle Leaf Fig Artificial Tree, and I am delighted with its realistic appearance and low-maintenance nature. As someone who loves the aesthetic appeal of fiddle leaf fig trees but struggles to keep indoor plants alive, this artificial tree is the perfect solution for adding greenery to my home without the hassle of watering and maintenance. One of the first things that impressed me about this artificial tree is how realistic it looks. The leaves are carefully crafted to mimic the vibrant, large leaves of a real fiddle leaf fig tree. The details, such as the veining and texture of the leaves, give it a natural and authentic appearance. The tree's height of 4 feet is also ideal for adding a statement piece to any room without overwhelming the space. The construction of the tree is sturdy and stable, with a realistic-looking trunk that adds to its authenticity. The tree comes pre-potted in a simple black pot, which is stable and complements the overall aesthetic of the tree. The pot also has a weighted base, which prevents the tree from toppling over and adds to its stability. One of the best features of this artificial tree is that it requires minimal maintenance. Unlike real fiddle leaf fig trees that require regular watering, pruning, and attention to lighting conditions, this artificial tree simply needs occasional dusting to keep it looking fresh and vibrant. This saves me time and effort in caring for the tree, making it a convenient and hassle-free option for adding greenery to my home.Another advantage of this artificial tree is that it is suitable for any room in my home. It looks great in my living room, adding a touch of nature and warmth to the space. It also works well in other areas such as the bedroom, office, or even the bathroom, as it doesn't require natural sunlight or specific humidity levels to thrive. In addition to its realistic appearance and low-maintenance nature, this artificial tree is also a cost-effective choice. Real fiddle leaf fig trees can be expensive, and they require ongoing care and attention. However, this artificial tree provides the same aesthetic appeal without the ongoing costs of plant care, making it a budget-friendly alternative. In conclusion, the 4-Foot Fiddle Leaf Fig Artificial Tree is a realistic, low-maintenance, and cost-effective option for adding greenery to any room. Its realistic appearance, sturdy construction, and minimal maintenance requirements make it a convenient and hassle-free choice for those who want the aesthetic appeal of a fiddle leaf fig tree without the challenges of plant care. I highly recommend this artificial tree for anyone looking to bring a touch of nature into their home with minimal effort and maintenance.

Looks great in my living room!
When this plant first arrives it needs a decent amount of care to spread out the leaves and make it look realistic. It took me the better part of an hour to get everything adjusted to my liking, but once adjusted it looks great! It does have a slightly fake look to it, but it doesn't jump out at you and it blends in nicely adding a warm feel to the room. I like it a lot and would definitely buy it again!

Stiff and unable to get perfectly shaped
This tree just doesn't 'work.' Of course, I expected to have to shape the leaves so it looked full and 'real.' No matter how much I fussed with it, I could never get this tree to look nice. AND, while trying to shape the leaves, one of the branches broke off with the stem stuck inside the hole--very inconvenient. The leaves seemed to go the wrong direction, too. Overall, this was a real disappointment.

Okay Quality
The 4 main trunks are real bamboo, but they are cut off at the top and the plastic branches are stuck into the hollow portion of the bamboo and hot glued (see photos). Because the top branches and 'leaves' are so thin, the tops of these bamboo poles really stand out and make it very obvious that this is an artificial tree. For the price of this tree, I expected better workmanship to make the tree look more realistic.Because the leaf stems are just plastic, there is no way to carefully reposition the stems and leaves so that they hide the tops of the bamboo poles. The stems that hold the leaf stems have metal inside them, so you can kind of bend them a little bit, but again, the leaf portion cannot be repositioned. Many of the plastic leaves are put onto the plastic stems upside down. This looks really odd. If you are VERY careful, you can twist this plastic leaf portion around so that the tops of the fabric leaves are facing up, instead of down. But again, for the price of this tree, you shouldn't have to fix anything. The leaves themselves are made of a fabric material adhered to plastic. The plastic stems that hold the leaves have no metal inside them - so there is no way to reposition the leaves themselves.I was hoping that from a distance this artificial plant would look a bit more realistic, but because you can clearly see the tops of the bamboo poles and because you can't reposition the leaves better, and because the top of this artificial plant is broken and flat, this tree still looks artificial. The pot this tree comes in is very small - 6-inch diameter by 5-inches tall. It is weighted to help keep the tree from tipping over. There is a black plastic layer on top that is supposed to look like soil, which it does from a distance. But the pot is very small, so looks out of proportion to the 4-foot height of the plant. The item description states there are over 670 leaves on this tree. Each bamboo pole holds 41 groups of leaves, and each group of leaves has 4 leaves on it. So there are close to 670 leaves altogether as stated.I was hoping to use this artificial tree as party decor. After the party, I was planning on bringing it to our lake cabin to add a touch of greenery to a house that isn't temperature controlled during our Minnesota Winters (it's too cold for any live plant to survive the winter). Despite the flaws with this tree, I will still bring it to the cabin. I'll just tuck it into a corner behind a chair propped up on a tall table, to make the tops of the bamboo poles less obvious. Since the top plastic leaves are broken and now flat, I'll attempt to swap those broken parts with leaves from lower on the tree. If I can do this, at least the top of this artificial plant won't be flat and the broken parts might be less obvious. I might have to use hot glue to make this swap, but I'll do whatever I can to salvage this tree. It's just unfortunate this tree was broken in the first place.I've looked at other artificial bamboo trees in the past at a local home decor store, and without a doubt the trees available locally are much better quality than this one. At this price point, the workmanship and definitely the packaging from the manufacturer needs to be a lot better.
