An excellent Filter
If you like pour over coffee pots, this is an excellent option to save on filters. Keep in mind that water tends to run too fast and doesn't allow the coffee to steep long enough to pull the flavor. That being said, after a few uses the pours beging to clog and this will resolve itself until it clogs too much, but it's easy to clean.

It's cool aesthetically but...
Even though this is reusable, it's not as sustainable as you'd think. The filter gets dirty really easy because of the fine holes in the ceramic. You cannot rinse all of the grinds out without using a lot of water. Eventually it will get clogged and you'll need to use a gas top stove to burn it clean. So ultimately, I had to buy disposable coffee filters to put inside of it to keep it clean from the ground coffee. While this does sound redundant and defeats the purpose of buying this filter for me, it is nice having triple-filtered coffee every morning. I use filtered water with this filter and a disposable coffee filter on top of it to create a very smooth cup of coffee in the morning.

Excellent customer service
Bought twice. Returned twice. Got full refund. Product was shipped broken twice. Not going to waste my time again on a return. Pours material looked like it could do the job.Durability is questionable since it could not survive shipping twice from Japan to USA. Poor packaging allowed product to break. Three separate components - filter, base and ring. Filter was broken twice.

Cold coffee
First few uses are ideal but then accumulating grind product that doesn’t completely come clean despite boiling per written maintenance instructions causes significant slowdown in filtration which results in cold coffee by the time it’s done with pour through.
