Sturdy, easy to use, and made very uniform jerky I was really impressed with this jerky gun. It was very easy to assemble and feels sturdy and well made. On my very first batch, I made more than 200 pieces of ground beef jerky, and the gun produced nice, uniform pieces throughout the entire batch. I also really like that it is stainless steel. After making that much jerky, cleanup could have been a chore, but it was very easy to clean. For my first time ever using a jerky gun, this was simple to use and worked exactly as I hoped it would. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

This jerky gun works as advertised, easy to use, and clean. If you have operated a caulking gun, the experience is very similar. The one issue I have with this unit is when the plunger gets to the end of its travel. product is still in the extruder tip, so I have to disassemble the jerky gun to finish extracting the product. There should be a tool to assist with this to avoid having to use my fingers to finish dispensing the jerky. I do not believe this issue is isolated to this brand, it just seems like an obvious oversight in the design. I generally use about a pound and half of prepared ground meat, and this holds this amount with ease. I am happy with this purchase. It has metal parts where required which should provide long life. I do not recommend submerging the plastic ram tool in water long for cleaning, as mine takes on water, and will slowly drain over several days.

Works great, easy to use, and easy to clean. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Feel solid like it’s made with quality parts. I would recommend this to anybody.

I've been using my kitchenaid sausage stuffer mechanism to make sausage and it's just a nightmare to get right and always seems to need more hands than I have. The jerky gun solves that problem easily. It holds 2lbs of ground beef and it takes about 2 minutes to stuff it all into a summer sausage wrapper. That's super fast compared to what I was going through before. It's well built, I had no leaks, or blowouts and cleaning was a breeze. I knocked 1 star off because as others have mentioned, the handle isn't exactly ergonomic. I solved this by wrapping the palm part with some padding and it's great now.

Solidly made, one of the best Jerky guns I have come across. Easy to use, cleans up easily too.

Just the thing I was looking for to make breakfast sausage. I have a full size sausage stuffer but I was looking for something more compact to make a few trays of breakfast links for freezing and this is just it. I've only used it twice but so far so good, easy to use and clean. Works well for jerky too.
