My dentist told me at my last 6 months check up that he could tell I must be grinding my teeth in my sleep now. Apparently I have worn them down a bit. He recommended that I come back in for a mold of my mouth to custom create a $600 occlusal mouth guard. My insurance would not cover that. I thought I would go search on Amazon for a better alternative and I'm so glad I did. This mouth guard set comes with a case and four moldable guards. So far, I have only used one because I just need to put it on my bottom teeth. I should be able to use this inexpensive set for well over a year. At only $10 for a set, I could go a lifetime and still not spend what I would on a single Dental Appliance.The guard was easy to mold following the directions. I placed the guard in the appropriate temperature water in a measuring cup and then molded it to my teeth. I used my candy thermometer to check the water temperature so that I did not get it too hot. I didn't quite like the fit the first night so I re-molded it a day later and it has worked just fine. It was a little weird to get used to having something in my mouth at night but it is not painful or uncomfortable at all. I really am happy I found the Smile Shark Mouth Guard on Amazon. It can't be beat.

These are a relatively easy to use, definitely sturdy, and relatively comfortable. They are bulkier than I expected and struggle as the small doesn't quite go to my back teeth and the large just feel a little too big (not uncomfortable to have in, but mouth and gums feel the strain in the morning). Love that it comes with the case for cleaner storing in-between uses. The price made for great value.

Cheaper then ones in any store for literally same thing. Works great plus you get a pack of 4. First one dipped in boiled water as directed, but it almost melted, but still was able to get it to shape, second one I did for half the time, worked perfectly.

I was in two minds when I bought this night guard specially on how comfortable it will be since I treasure my sleep very much. I also wasn't sure if I will be able make the model correctly.My fears proved baseless. It was very easy to model it to my teeth structure and the gap between my upper & lower teeth using this guard is just right, to prevent me from grinding my teeth at night.A perfect solution & a perfect fit to protect teeth from chipping & breaking due to unconscious clenching & grinding at night.

Hace unas semanas mi dentista me recomendó usar unos protectores para mis dientes porque se me estaban desgastando, encontré MOUTH GUARD, estoy muy contenta por el precio, la calidad y el resultado, son muy fáciles de usar, son moldeables y nada incómodos, los uso para dormir y tambien para los dias cuando por estres o por mal habito los dientes me rechinan, en lo personal los recomiendo al 100% porque han resuelto mi problema.____________________________________A few weeks ago my dentist recommended that I use some protectors for my teeth because they were wearing out, I found MOUTH GUARD, I am very happy for the price, the quality and the result, they are very easy to use, they are moldable and not at all uncomfortable, I use them to sleep and also for the days when my teeth grind due to stress or a bad habit, personally I recommend them 100% because they have solved my problem.

My dentist recommended I get mouth guard to protect my teeth from grinding and was told I could get one from Amazon for about $10. For anyone claiming it's too hard or stiff, my dentist explained you boil it for 10 minutes to soften it then bite down to shape it to your bite.Don't bite too hard otherwise there won't be much left to protect your teeth, like I did. I didn't want to have extra product filling up my mouth so I cut off areas that felt they had extra than needed, but I think I did a little too much, and while I tried to smooth the areas after, they feel a bit awkward. I put it in when I'm ready to sleep. At first I kept waking up and it wasn't in my mouth it was hidden somewhere in my bed; I guess I kept pushing it out with my tongue or taking it out when I was asleep. I may have gotten more used to it now because that hasn't happened for a bit.Something I don't like is after I've worn it all night and I take it out, my teeth feel a bit sensitive, like my bite is trying to shift, or has shifted slightly. I think the problem is because I didn't mold it while lying in my sleeping position, so I recommend doing that. I'll keep using it until my dentist recommends otherwise. (Note: I haven't seen my dentist since I've started using it.)I rinse it every night before using again, and it's nice to have the plastic holder to set on.

After reading the reviews for this product I was hopeful this would have me to save money versus what I would have had to spend having my dentist make my guard. I was actually excited. This comes with 2 sizes (small and large). Well they both it in my mouth the same with a bit of a gagging effect. I chose the one with a little less gag and figured ok ill trim heat and set I should be great after all this product did get great reviews. Yeah no after heating it didn't set right it was SUPER thick feeling and uncomfortable. I tossed the entire thing same day I got it. Smh waste of money.

My old mouth guard was from my dentist and very expensive. I surance only covers one mouth guard for life. Not great. I wore through it with my nighttime grinding and did not want to pay Hundreds of dollars from the dentist. After a little research, I came across this and ordered. Easy to fit and mold with the hot water, but I did cut some to make it a little more comfortable. So far, I have not had any issues and it stays in all night. Would recommend. Would be 5stars, but the cutting wasn't the best.
