Benro Tripod System – GoPlus Classic SERIE2 3-Section Aluminium tgp27 A

I bought this to do a mix of landscape and macro photography. I had a few doubts about the weight as I am more used to carbon fibre tripods, and about the stability when using with the centre column in a horizontal position as my previous tripod (a Giottos model) was very unstable in this mode. I must say the tripod has exceeded my expectations. It seems well balanced to carry in the hand so I have not encountered any issue with the weight, and stability is excellent even at ground level. Only prolonged use will tell me how well it copes with ingress of salt water and sand (I do a lot of coastal photography).
