Not steel construction- description is a lie
Not steel construction - completely non-magnetic which means it's probably some cheap zinc alloy. I think it's probably strong enough as long as it doesn't take a whack, but I also don't like being lied to in the details of a listing. It's also quite bulky and protrudes way further than it needs to for a simple clip. I think I'll be returning it and getting something else.

Good strong piece of kit here - works on any 20mm RIS rail, and holds my sling perfectly.

This mount is pretty heavy, it really inspires confidence that is not just gonna sheer in two.

A bit bulky but does the job and also not like in the pic it has no logo
