Poor software
No complaints about the hardware. However, the software operating this hardware is very poor, apparently developed by amateur developers for Chinese market. If the software was ok, I would have not returned it.

Does none of it.
It does not read anything. I am dyslexic and that is what I was looking for. This was advertised as reading tool for dyslexic students. Does none of it. Waste of money.

Slick with Lots of Features but a Variable Success Rate
The media could not be loaded. I was pleasantly surprised to see how techy this device is! It’s full of features and has a really nice to use touch screen on the side of it!There is no doubting how modern and futuristic the device looks and feels. The main feature I used it for was to push the pen down and glide it across text so it reads it back to you in English. The English voice is very pleasant and understandable when it detects the correct words, there were also options to learn Chinese and it looked to go into great detail with animations of mouth movements and the Chinese symbols. The device is very quick to respond once you scan a line of text.My video, isn’t that great quality as it was tricky to hold the phone and pen at the same time but it gives you an idea of how good and how badly it can read stuff.I think with more practice and the perfect angle alignment, I could get the reading accuracy up but then if you are dyslexic or trying to learn English, how would you know if it’s saying the correct words or not?It seemed to have a bigger success rate on plain black text on a white background and you have to vertically hold the pen just before the sentence before swiping it across. The pen has a little dash marker on the end to show you where you should position the text when scanning it.I think it could be a useful tool for some people but there is a fine balance as to whether it would be more of a help or a hindrance!
