Works as good as it looks!
I was looking for a new crankbait reel. I found this one and bought it because it looked nice and was priced right. I am very happy with it. It looks even better in person and performed flawlessly too! Big deep crankbaits can put a reel to work and this KastKing WhiteMax handles it, no problem. Cast great, light weight, comfortable, awesome look, and very smooth. I plan on getting another one! The best crankin' reel I have found for a great low price!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...
This is a good looking reel but it is made very cheap don't let the 9 ball bearings make you think it's a nice smooth reel. I would not suggest buying this reel If you fish a lot because I don't for see it lasting very long it made grinding noises right out of the box.

I currently have 4 of Eposeidon's reels. I love each of themand unless something changes, I will not be purchasing reelsfrom any other vendor. This WhiteMax was my least favoritedue to fit. So, I just returned it to Eposiedon for a reel that fitbetter. Eposeidon has numerous models of baitcasting reelsavailable. Be sure to find the one that's right for you. You won'tregret it!

It has amazing line retrieve and does not back lash even if you try to. I know it's an off brand but it work like the best!

DONT BUY UNDER ANY CONDITIONS!!!!!
Awful!!! I used it some with crankbaits. Here is what i find bad about it, you can feel and hear every gear on a cast and retrieve, feels cheep, can cast only 20 feet, and feels super cheep. It didnt work for crankbaits because its cheep and crappy so i had to use it for trolling shinners because it couldnt cast. I caught a couple 3 pounders, but it broke on a 4 pounder. Never ever will i buy a cheep reel again. Look at lews or diawa, only 60 dollars more, but a million times better.

Junk, save your $
Nice looking reel, that's about it though. The braking system does not work at all no matter what you set it at. Every cast is a major birds nest. Been using bait cast reels for 10 years and this is the worst one I've ever used by far. Figured I'd try it out. Bad idea....there are far better reels in this price range, but save your money and buy something better(I.e.-Abu Garcia, quantum, daiwa).
