NOVASKO Premium Heavy Duty Kitchen Shears (Black/White)

I purchased the Novasko shears to replace a long-used mediocre pair that came with a gift set of knives. When they would no longer cut hot butter, I knew it was time to get a really good replacement pair, and believe I have found it with the Norvasko Heavy Duty Shears! Shortly after my purchase of the black/white set vs red/black, which arrived with a handy protective sleeve over the blades and packaged in a nice storage box, I received an email from the company stating they are family-owned business, offering their assistance and desired my customer satisfaction. This really touched a cord, as a family-run business owner, myself. The shears came highly recommended by many Amazon reviewers, whom I trust to give the straight scoop! I think we're going to get along just fine for many years to come! Okay so first let me say don’t let the price fool you. I know you say if something is this cheap it can’t be good right ? WRONG! I love these scissors .. I got these for me and my mom for when we eat crab legs but I’m also using them for other things in the kitchen as well. They’re easy to clean and I like the little cover that comes with it because these scissors are SHARP.

Nice quality. The action on these shears isn't the smoothest, but they work well. I've cut through things I probably shouldn't - like wooden skewers- and they've held up well.--------Update - I ordered these in 2017. A year and a half later of heavy use and being used nearly daily, they are holding up great. The scissors definitely are looser than they once were, but still work perfectly.The only trouble I've had with tuneful is some gross rusty grime near the hinge. See picture of close up.I suppose if I was so inclined I could use a toothbrush and some citric acid to remove it.

Im a caterer and use scissors for almost everything. These things are so durable that I bought three more. Now I only use them for minor items. I have not used them for chicken bones or anything hard as such. Either way, these things work for my needs and purpose. My staff usually fights for these scissors so I ended up buying a few more. No more fighting.

These are wonderful and affordable kitchen scissors. They are study and packaged in a box. I gave them as small gifts some family members during the holidays. My primary purpose for purchasing them was for cutting into King Crab Legs, and they worked great for that.

About 6 months in. They have held up nicely, still look nice, still cut great. Easy to clean, comfy grip. Solid shears. Seems like they'll last a long time. Very pleased. Especially for the price. You really dont need to spend any more than this.

Shears do not come apart for cleaning, they are sharp but will rust if you do not keep dry and oiled. I use them to cut bait on my boat, they perform very well but I don't expect them to last very long wuth the way they rust.

I have arthritis in both my hands and sometimes find it hard to open jars and use shears. These heavy duty shears are certainly easier for me to use. I used them to cut up a chicken and found them to work perfectly.
