Not great for a normal mug!
Not great for a normal mug, needs to be a short height wide mug for it to sit inside and diffuse the tea. Quite slow at working too, leaves a weak tea unless you leave it in for 5 minutes but by then your drinks mild/fairly cold…

Cute, would have liked a prettier colour
Who couldn't love this cute manatee tea infuser? It has an appealing face and the flippers hook over the lip of your mug, whilst the tail sits in your tea. The head pulls off and the body can then be filled with tea leaves. I'd have liked a slightly prettier colour, or at least a choice of colours, although the greyish shade is true to life. I'm not sure how well it will wear over time - the head and body simply pull apart and then plug back together again, so I'm not sure that it will last all that long. However I don't know as only just got it. It also has a very rubbery smell when it comes (which is fair enough since it is rubber) so you need to give it a good wash before using in tea.

Enjoy a Slow Brew
I love sloths and I love loose tea so what better than this little gimmick to brighten up my tea drinking. This is cute and does the job, though the holes are a little bit too big and you do end up with some tea bits in your mug but hey I have that problem most infusers/strainers so it not a problem for me.It hooks onto the side of the cup with ease but it is rather large in your mug but I don't tend to leave it in when drinking so again not a problem for me but it may be for others. One tip give it a really good wash or long soak before using as it smells strongly of rubber when you take it out the packet - or at least mine did!

Does its job, and does it well.
I bought this infuser as I didn't want the hassle of constantly cleaning my teapot everytime I wanted a keep cup of tea.So, this infuser is a God send, small enough for easy storage. But big enough to fill with loose leaf tea. It's so easy to clean and dries even quicker!Well-made, brews in minutes and doesn't effect the taste of the drink whatsoever. Not much more you could really want or ask for.I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a quick cup of tea without having to worry about the cleanup.

Good idea but not practical
I got the Slow Brew. Bought it as an impulse buy as it was cute and looked a good idea. However, I find that the holes are simply too small and not enough to get a good brew on the tea, so you need to leave it for longer. I also found that the sloth doesn't fully submerge itself, so about half the tea leaves are above the water line (unless you fill your cup right to the top). Then, once finished, cleaning it out is a bit of a pain. You can't just tap it - youneed to get a spoon in and force it out.None of these are a major issue but it means it wont be my day to day tea infuser, and for £8 it seems a bit of an expensive waste!

Fred Manatea makes a great cup of tea!
Love my Manatea, so much so just got two more, simple to use, bit of experimenting with amounts of tea to use-its one tea spoon-too much and it does not seep out. He also benefits from a gentle squeeze of his tummy with a tea spoon' Like many trying to cut down on plastic (sadly nearly all tea bags have them) Fred is silicon and will last a long time-makes storing tea much more compact as well. Teas also seems to have more taste to it than with the bags

Super cute and easy to use
Super cute and easy to use. Works well but if you've got a fine tea it can fall out of the holes as they are quite big. Works really well, looks fab and is a talking point. Great value for money and quick delivery. Cleans really well.

Great fun, but not so great tea
My old tea infuser was getting a bit battered, so I got a Mr Tea.The good points:- It's fun, and livens up Monday morning tea break.- Mr Tea's trousers are quite capacious and hold a couple of teaspoons of tea.The bad points:- The holes in the trousers are larger than those in my old mesh infuser. A large-ish leaf darjeeling mostly stays inside but the cup of assam I've just made, where the leaves are quite small, looks like a tea-coloured snow globe. Small leaf teas just don't stay inside his trousers.- Once Mr Tea has done his business in your mug, you now have a hot, dripping rubbery thing full of hot, wet tea leaves. Unless you have a saucer or something to put him on this can be a problem. My old infuser was spring loaded and could eject the wet leaves at the squeeze of the handle, which was much more convenient.
