Just a as advertised
Quick delivery of two days - which is one day earlier than expected. Product arrived in great shape with adequate packing. Would buy from this vendor again. The GP200R is a brilliant anodized red color that surprised me. I like it. The IRs and FX are nice and it sounds great in stereo as well as mono. I am sending it to two matched amps via the line in on the back of the amps to get the full quality of the impulse responses and the effects without any coloring of the preamps. You could also connect to the effects return on your amp to bypass the preamp and running in mono with just one amp is great as well. You may have to adjust the Global EQ in the settings to get the overall tone that you like or you can turn on one of the EQ stomp models within each “Patch” to achieve similar results. There are IRs and effects for your bass as well. It has a built in 180 second looper and a drum machine with a lot of patterns. I don’t think you can change the drum kit though. The loop you record within the looper will change to whatever sound you are using at the time regardless of the sound of the patch you originally recorded. The GP200R is a superb amp modeler/effects unit for the price and I would recommend it to any new or intermediate guitarist. I’ve played guitar for many years and I’m enjoying the sounds I’m creating with it.Cheers!

Wowza! (If you get no sound output make sure expression pedal is up.)
WOW WOW WOW! Got it up and running and have spent first hour just playing/enjoying the FIRST patch just because it sounds sooo great and sooo noiseless. Such a nice, pure sound. I haven't even gotten around to messing with the next 99 patches let alone build my own. What a wonderful device. Solid, heavy, metal case exudes quality build.I did have initial frustration because it wouldn't make a sound no matter what I tried. I swapped cables, turned up volume on my amp, a set of headphones, and the various volume knobs on the device then realized the expression pedal was down and was set to be a volume pedal. Duh! Lifted the pedal and, voila, sound!

Very Powerful
I heard so much about this product, I had to get one. Not touchscreen but the PARA(meter) and the small 3 encoder knobs does the trick for every parameter. the owner's manual is even easy to understand. It does work either in Stomp Mode, Patch Mode, or 4 cable mode. In 4 cable mode, the tone of the amp is not affected (Unlike the BOSS MS-3). Used it with the XLR outs to the mix board on a recent church service and sounded great. Is it better than a Kemper or Fractal? No, but it can give Line 6 a run for its money.

Love it
I've used a handful of these types of pedals. This is the closest i can get to real tone. Every setting is useable, some sound phenomenal, the tone is wider than the helix stuff (yes, really). There's less customization than the helix, but, when the guys on the team start paying attention to what the new pedal is called, you know it's doing something right.Best value for money, great performance, very versatile.I love it, i really love it.

So far, so good
I've been using amp modeler pedals since 2008. Mostly for practice (headphones) but sometimes live.I bought the GP200R to use for looping, playing overdubs to the looper, and live functions without an amp on stage. It takes some tweaking to suit your taste but a lot of the sounds a really good.I was disappointed to find out that you cannot overdub the looper with a second guitar sound.Or at least I haven't figured out how. I wrote to the company, and they did not respond. Another disappointment.Anyway, several amp models are very good, as are the effects in general.I have modified a few of the factory presets but mostly start from scratch.Love the acoustic guitar setting and plan on using it live. The Tweed, Vox, Bogner, BadKat, Matchless, Roland, JCM800 are all very useable for me. Clean, crunch or dirty, everything is in there if you work on it. Navigation is relatively easy since I have used modelers before. You can get bogged down with all the choices and tweaking. For me, I have set A,B,C,D, footswitches for Clean, Edge of breakup, crunch, and lead tones respectively. Easy for live situation.Cosmetically, it looks quite cool to not be a boring black pedal. Love the red!If not for the looper issue I would have probably given it a 5. For the money it's worth it.

Love this!
I haven’t had any of the newer amp modelers multi fx, but I love this thing! With my fender ltd FTM HH it just shreds, the heavy sounds are great and options are endless, don’t hesitate to buy! Especially if on a budget.

Great product
I have only had the unit for 4 days writing this but I got it Wednesday while at work, was able to dial in a decent tone in 30 minutes before church rehearsal and was overall pleased. It is easy to use and the editing software seems great and works well as an interface (I use reaper). Not a thing you can really complain about, especially for this price point!

Excellent multiFx !
Really like the GP200, great tones, easy to use.Amp controls on panel for tweaking on the fly, plus three assignable knobs to control whatever you want!Footswitch’s can be used to control effects as individual pedals, plus, still have 2 footswitchs for choosing up and down for presets. It will do the “edge of breakup” tones that most modelers in the price range can’t handle.Great cleans and dirty tones too.Mine came with a Valeton branded carrying caseVery satisfied with this unit !
