A couple of weeks ago i was clearing out a basket from under the sink iIkeep plastic carrier bage in, iIsaw some had been shredded Hmmm, looked in the cupboard and saw some mouse droppings AGHHHH! got online to see what traps were available wanted to catch them live, couldn't stand the thought of getting up to a snap trap with a mouse dead with a broken neck, saw this humane trap and read some reviews and ordered it. When it arrived I was surprised how well constructed it was, as the mice enter the door shuts up behind them, very clever, there is plenty of room for Mickey, and there is a clear lid so you could se what is in there. I put a bit of shredded paper in one corner thought it would help Mickey not get stressed out, last thing I wanted was a dead mouse! I baited the trap with chocolate and peanut butter put it under the sink around 9.30pm an hour later Mickey was in paws full of peanut butter! he never flinched! he was tiny and quite cute although I didn't want him in the house. left him until the morning. I got the trap out next morning he was sat huddled in the shredded paper not stressed at all, I put the trap in a shoe box so it was dark, put it in the car and drove to a vantage point 2 miles away, it was bitter cold and blowing a gale, I found some good hedge cover and opened thr lid, he shot up the entrance passage so I put it on the ground, 15 mins later still no movement, I was freezing, I picked the trap up and gave it a good old shake he refused to budge, I put it back on the ground and gave it a sharp tap, he jumped out towards me I screamed and he disappeared into the hedgerow( no one was around to witness me freaked out by a 2 inch field mouse!) I cleaned the trap with just water I think anti-bac smells would put the mice off. baited the trap again, my husband watched me and he said ' 70% coaco chocolate, peanut butter a bed and a road trip, they are better looked after than me!'Next morning there was Minnie! so same again only once the lid was opened she shot off, MY THEY ARE QUICK!! We found they were coming in via thw mains water pipe a 1 inch gap outside we cemented in and expanding foam filled inside, that was two days ago and no sign of mice, I think this trap is brill, just a note, make sure the entrance holes are tight up to the skiring board/cupboard base and side they run around the parameter of rooms etc, i'm sure you can tell it was not so bad and i'm happy that they stand a chance where they belong in the fields!!!

Good points - easy to set up and can catch multiple mice at the same time (we caught 3 in one overnight on the first night). Has an entrance both ends so works well along the wall where the mice travel. Bad points - I bought multiple traps and the one trap had a faulty mechanism on the one entrance. The lid is quite stiff to open. The mice can hide in the little tunnels so it can be difficult to know if they are in there or to release them if they are insistent on hiding. It's difficult to get the seed out from under the ramps. We caught several mice quickly over the first couple of nights but then not caught anything since. So it does feel like they have cottoned on to the traps and are staying clear of them.

Great mouse trap i loaded with peanut butter and used gloves so to keep the human smell off and have caught 10 mice from my garden in the space of a week, pretty good going i think

USELESS -DID NOT CATCH A SINGLE MOUSE I have had a bad field mice invasion and have been initially catching anywhere between two or four mice a night with the numbers caught reducing to one or two a night. Having read the reviews I thought I would give this mouse catcher a try and hopefully clear the remaining mice more quickly than my trusted old catchers. Having purchased it I put it out the first night with a walnut which the mice appear to love. Next morning NOTHING. No mice had managed to find their way into the trap. So I tried again on the second night this time adding peanut butter. Again second morning NOTHING. I continued for the next four days adding chocolate and strawberry tops (which they love) to the menu, and trying different sites where I had caught before. But despite offering a varied menu of all the goodies that mice love I STILL HAD NOT CAUGHT A SINGLE MOUSE. By the end of the six days I’d had enough so I reverted back to the previous traps, which are much much cheaper, and bought only two traps in the event that I was mistaken and the mice had been cleared. Last night I put the two new traps out plus this metal contraption with just some walnut pieces and peanut butter. Curious to see the results of my new traps and this one I made my way to where I had left the traps last night. And guess what my two new traps had each caught a mouse but this metal contraption had NONE. I leave you the ?buyer to draw your own conclusions on my review and the previous reviews. I’ve heard stories about reviews and I’m now beginning to believe them.

Success first time! At the first setting, baited with chocolate and hazelnuts, we caught two mice. I did cover the clear plastic panel with a slate as I thought it was rather flimsy and that the mice might prefer the dark. As it happened, overnight a cat or something larger removed the slate and moved the trap some 2 metres attempting to get at the mice. I will place it under something more substantial another time. I am also concerned that the metal means the trap becomes very chilly in cold weather so will add hay or shredded paper as an insulator before replacing. Already the bird feed is disappearing less quickly and I am not seeing little furry chaps scurrying around as bold as brass in the middle of the day. All in all, a good thing. Apart from the potential to inadvertently kill the mice with cold, this is an effective piece of equipment and should last a long time. update: Score so far, 9 mice. However, the bricks that were supposed to protect the trap and mice were also moved a substantial distance so I suspect it may be a fox, not a cat. As noted by another reviewer, the mice do tend to hide in the side tunnel and seem to make themselves quite comfortable in there, refusing to leave when the trap is opened. I have solved this problem by putting an open ended toothpaste box (just the right size) in the main compartment and the mice appear to love that as a hideout. For the past few days, no mice, so I guess it has worked. FURTHER UPDATE The reason there have been no mice for the past few days becomes obvious. The spring-loaded ramp via which the mouse enters and which is designed to prevent them leaving again, is now defunct. Either the mice have worked out how to depress it from the inside or the spring loading has just failed completely. As the whole device is fixed together with rivets etc, it is not possible to investigate the failure nor fix it. Sadly, what I now have is a Sushi Bar for mice! In the bin it goes.

So, I knew I had 1 mouse for definite as it had defecated in a cupboard in my kitchen. I didn’t want to buy a glue trap as they are so cruel and I didn’t want to buy a traditional trap that snaps their neck/back. I knew I was going to go down the humane route so I had bought a cheapo little green thing which I had baited at one end. Once they are in they aren’t meant to get back out. But like I’ve said in previous reviews, you really do get what you pay for!! The little green trap was useless as the mouse just gnawed its way through the plastic 🙄 Ok, so I needed something a lot more sturdy and cue this contraption! BOOM!! Caught the little thing on the first night I baited it (mice love peanut butter!) and I put some tissue in also so not to stress it out to much. It has a handy window in the top also so you can see the little critter when you’ve caught him. They say that when you release them back into the wild, you should let them go free about 3 miles away but I let my little critter go next to the farmers field about a mile away. He hopped out and off he went. So I came back home and opened the top of the lid to give it a clean and BOOM!!! there was another one in there! This trap had caught 2, yes 2 of the things in the same night!! The second one had hid itself really wildly in the box 🙄 So he has been released at the same place as his mate and I’m resetting it again for tonight. My theory is if I caught 2 in one night, I’ve probable got more!! All in all, I’d deffo recommend this product. It catches multiple mice, is reuseable, and as it’s metal, they can’t chew their way out! 10/12/21 - Had to return it ☹️ It stopped working after the 4th mouse was caught. I don’t know if the thing is defective or the mice are particularly clever!! I’ve ordered a replacement so we’ll see what happens tomorrow 🤞🏼

My husband kept buying humane mousetraps and none of them worked. Eventually I took things into my own hands and after reading the other reviews on Amazon decided to buy one of these. Well, the first night we got a mouse and I was over the moon. I took it with me in the morning and released it in a field near the office where I work. The next day I got another one. We then had a couple of days with none. I had read that mice really like peanut butter and so decided to try some. I then caught two mice in one night. Then we caught a single mouse the next night. In the meantime, I was so impressed with the product that I bought another one for the other side of the house. Last night I caught two more mice. Needless to say I think I am coming to the end of the mice! My second mouse trap has not caught any yet, but I was not sure that there were mice on that side the house anyway. I do find though that sometimes the mice hide in the tunnels, and sometimes you just see a tail. It is also easy to open to release the mouse. I am very happy with this mouse trap as it is very sturdy, with nice air vents for the mouse, and you can clearly see into the trap. An excellent product ... it works!

We bought this trap knowing full well we had the most ingenious little mouse ever. He'd already managed to eat two peanuts and a smartie off your normal common garden mouse trap. He's a clever little guy. But having read the reviews and on seeing it was a professional trap we went ahead and purchased. It was delivered next day and we carefully read the instructions. So we decided to place in the trap a penguin biscuit ( mice apparently like peanut butter, chocolate and biscuits! Who knew! ) so massive chocci biscuit in place we waited. This morning we got up to him in the trap. Brilliant, amazing he was done! Unfortunately usual morning work rush we thought he'd be fine. It states quite clearly once in they can't get out!!! NO coming home he was gone......as was half the penguin!!! He'd got out of the one way trap. Now I know he's a clever little guy but it's meant to be a professional trap. Used by professional mouse trappers. But no Bob has gone. I feel we've purchased a mouse cafe, come in eat, poo and leave. He did leave a request though.....apparently he prefers wagon wheels can we put one in for his next visit!!!

J'aurais dû prendre une photo. On avait 2 pièges individuels, qui fonctionnent relativement bien. Mais face à l'invasion dont on est victime au grenier (attenant une grange), ce n'était clairement pas suffisant. Ici, on a mis un peu de litière à rongeur et du beurre de cacahuète dans le multipiège pour les attirer. Premier jour, rien du tout, deuxième jour non plus... 3ᵉ jour, 12 souris d'un coup ! Relâchées dans la forêt à plusieurs kilomètres de la maison (un peu mal au cœur de les laisser dehors à -2°C mais bon.. ), on a enfin l'espoir de nettoyer la maison sans devoir les tuer ! Super facile à nettoyer en plus !

Nachdem ich mich gestern maßlos über andere Lebendfallen und deren Verletzungs- bzw. Tötungsgarantie aufgeregt habe, bestellte ich mir diese hier und habe sie heute erhalten, gleich unter die Lupe genommen, bestückt und aufgestellt. Endlich mal ein Produkt, wo sich jemand wirklich Gedanken gemacht hat und soweit ich das beurteilen kann, eine super Lebendfalle, bei der das Tier tatsächlich lebend gefangen und auch unversehrt in die Freiheit entlassen werden kann - regelmäßige Kontrolle der Falle vorausgesetzt! Die Falle verfügt über 2 gegenüberliegende Eingänge, deren Auslösemechanismus in Form einer Wippe von der Maus betätigt wird, sobald sie das Ende des Eingangs erreicht. Deswegen ist es ratsam schon Futter im Eingang, am Ende der Wippe zu platzieren, damit sie einen Anreiz hat auch bis dorthin zu gehen. Wenn sie das Ende der Wippe erreicht hat, wird sie durch das Gewicht des Tieres nach unten gedrückt und Mäuschen befindet sich im Innern der Falle. Ich habe den Auslösemechanismus mehrfach getestet, er ist leicht gängig und fast geräuschlos. Natürlich wird das Mäuschen versuchen wieder nach draußen zu kommen, aber das ist nicht möglich, da die Wippe von innen nicht begehbar ist. Wichtig finde ich, dass bei der Verarbeitung der Falle viel Aufmerksamkeit auf Details gelegt wurde, z.B. dass das Ende der Wippe von innen extra noch mal durch ein Blech abgedeckt wurde, so dass kein Spalt oder scharfe Grate vorhanden sind, an denen sich das Tier beim Versuch zu entfliehen, verletzen könnte. Top!!! Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist, dass die Falle sehr geräumig ist und über ausreichend große Luftschlitze an beiden Seiten verfügt, so dass das Tier nicht ersticken kann. Sie ist groß genug, um Futter und Wasser darin zu platzieren, so dass man sie auch über Nacht problemlos aufstellen kann, ohne dass dem Tierchen etwas passiert. Allerdings würde ich in dem Fall den Boden noch mit etwas Küchenpapier auslegen und vielleicht ein Tempo in eine Ecke legen, denn das Blech ist sehr kalt und es besteht die Gefahr der Auskühlung. Vorteilhaft ist auch, dass der Deckel der Falle ein großes durchsichtiges Fenster hat, so kann man sie bequem von außen kontrollieren, ohne sie anzufassen. Super! Aber aufpassen, bitte auch in die Eingänge sehen, ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die meisten Tiere sich dort verkriechen werden. Alles in allem ein wirklich tolles Produkt, welches ich von Herzen empfehlen kann.

Avant d'acheter ce piège, j'avais commandé ceux en plastique et qui ne permettent d'attraper qu'une souris à la fois (sur Amazon chez le même fabricant + un modèle similaire chez un autre) . Ils fonctionnent moins bien et les souris les grignotent finissant par les rendre inutilisables. J'ai donc opté pour ce modèle qui est presque parfait ! Il est plus cher que ceux cités plus haut, mais ça vaut le coup : - entièrement en inox, les souris seront mortes de faim avant d'avoir pu le détériorer. C'est du solide ! Du même coup, il est facile à nettoyer et pas de risque qu'il rouille. Perso je le passe sous l'eau chaude et j'utilise le désinfectant qui "nitol tout dans la maison" ;). - le piège en lui même est très bien pensé : une fois que la souris à commencée à s'engager par l'une des ouverture, elle ne pourra plus sortir, même si une autre entre à son tour. - le piège permet de prendre jusqu'à 7 souris en même temps. Pour ma part mon record est de 3 souris en une nuit (j'en suis à 28 d'attrapées depuis le 3 août 2016, et sans poser le piège tous les jours !). - le dessus possède une fenêtre en plastique bien transparent, ce qui permet au premier coup d'oeil de s'assurer d'une prise ou non. Bien conçu aussi, nos rongeurs ne pourront pas y mordre pour s'échapper. Le seul point que je pourrais éventuellement relever est que le couvercle est un peu dur à ouvrir. J'ai donc simplement écarté très légèrement les bords du couvercle avec les doigts pour faciliter l'opération. Pour l'utiliser je ne prends pas de précaution particulière : j'ouvre le couvercle (sans mettre de gants), je place un morceau de pain rassis et un carré de chocolat noir de cuisine dans le piège (au milieu), et je l'installe. Le lendemain matin j'ai casiment à chaque fois une ou plusieurs souris :) Si je peux je les relâche le matin même, mais il m'est arrivé de devoir les y laisser jusqu'au soir. Toutes semblaient se porter à merveille au moment de les voir filer vers une nouvelle vie, loin, très loin ^^. Bref, vous l'aurez compris : je recommande chaudement !

Da muy buen resultado y es de fácil manejo. Sobretodo es recomendable tapar con un objeto opaco la parte transparente de arriba para que no la golpeen e intenten roer para buscar la salida.
