Cardcaptor Sakura Omnibus Volume 3 Paperback – 31 Jan. 2012

Now that she has captured all the missing Clow Cards and been declared their Master, Sakura Kinomoto thinks that things will now get back to normal for her and her friends. The normality doesn't last long though as a mysterious new student transfers into her class and strange magical events start happening once more. Added to this Yukito is sleeping more and more, and is in danger of disappearing totally.This third and penultimate omnibus of the `Cardcaptor Sakura' manga continues this great series in the same quality as the previous two books. The series continues to have an interesting plot with some nice funny moments and some nice character moments. I particularly like the Valentines and White Day chapters of the omnibus as they have some very nice heart-warming and sweet moments. The artwork is still as beautiful as you would expect from CLAMP and is shown off very well by the larger than usual size of the book and the colour pages included in the book.Cardcaptor Sakura is a great series that any manga fan should enjoy and these omnibus editions of the series are great ways to read it.

Good read and collecting if you like clamp

i love manga, and to have my favourite show when i was young in my hands, its just awesome! i buy the clamp omnibus' because i like feeling i have read something and it does work out cheaper almost buying instead of individual volumes.i am really impressed with the beautiful artwork given in the books as well as the fantastic gripping storylines.but now i want volume four - and it's nowhere to be found! so it's kind of a bummer they released three with no evidence of volume four (when i bought 2, three wasn't released but it was available to pre-order...)so i'm kind of bummed they ended it on a cliff hanger and i may have to wait a while to find out what happens....

I love the anime and I decided that these omnibuses would be a fantastic opportunity to experience the original at a reasonable price, and it's just fantastic, high quality, well printed and clean translation, the compilation also means it holds up better than a simple comic!

This is a great book. My manga-mad granddaughter loves it.It's big, which is always a good thing with books. The artwork is lovely and the paper has a nice feel. Definitely a quality manga book.

I totally agree with the review saying that Vol #3 departs from the Sakura cardcaptor story arc.It is a shame that more cards couldn't be imagined.We never knew quite how many cards were released.Concidering it's Clamp we're talking about here,where were the Love card,the embarrassement card ,the friendship card,the mirror card etc ? I have a theory....you know how male creators say they just want to draw girls/women so they revolve storys around their art ? Well,I think Clamp got slightly fed up with CUTE,ADORABLE,FUNNY,HUMAN Sakura and just wanted to draw guys and decided to wrap storys around them.In Sakura The Movie,the story goes to Hong Kong and is absolutely brilliant ! In this latest Vol #3 there is a mention of Li going back to Hong Kong and I thought woo hoo,here we go,it's gonna get good.....well,phooey ! it doesn't happen,shame.I too love Sakura and will also continue to buy the omnibus editions to support Clamp until they get back on track and give us what we really want....MORE OF SAKURA the Cardcaptor,oh and some more of the characters from the other anime,Cardcaptors Tests of courage.
