After Effect | Extrait De Parfum 80ml | By French Avenue

This perfume has a really pleasant and rich scent. It smells elegant and slightly unique, making it suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.The fragrance lasts for a long time, and you don’t need to apply much. The bottle design also looks premium and well-made.Overall, a great quality perfume with good longevity and value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

This is obviously a take on the Side Effect DNA by initio. It is incredibly strong and less is more with this fragrance. In terms of how similar it is to the original, the opening is very harsh and unpleasant in my opinion. This fragrance shines during its dry down where it does get about 70% close to the original. However you cannot compare a £25 fragrance to one that is £265. Overall if you enjoy the side effect DNA but you don’t want to fork out a fortune this is a good purchase. Having tried the original though, it is obviously on a class of its own.

Having both this and a decant of Side Effect, this fragrance comes close by having all the same parts of side effect but with a different balance with some parts being lots more intense than others - not to say this is necessarily bad, but don't expect it to be the same as side effect. Tends to last for around 5-6 hours on my skin. The quality of the bottle was the main let down for me, as after owning this for around a month now it seems like the liquid has somehow gotten onto the bottle and melted its coating off as per attached photos, which then goes onto stain anything it touches. The atomiser is not the best either but that's understandable for the price point.

Great dupe if you know you know. Get compliments every time I wear it.

Its very nice smell, at the begining its a very spicy scent then after some time it has thay sweet scent. I will to give 4/5 because it got one day delay

The box is very high quality and came un-damaged. It smells identical to Initio Side Effect. The first couple seconds smells a little weird (the alcohol has to go away) but after like 5 seconds it smells like Side Effect. I took a shower after wearing it for like 10 minutes and I still smell it just as strong as when I first sprayed it. The dry down is super good too. The inside of the box is super smooth and fits the cologne perfect. The cologne bottle feels super high quality and it has weight. It looks similar to Lataffa Badee al oud amethyst. The top says French Avenue, and the bottle is a darker color than the photos. The real bottle says “French Avenue” in the middle and “Extrait de parfum” on the bottom of the front. The bottom of the bottle has a gold looking plate with french avenue on it.
