Tank 6813 10 x 23 Horizontal 6.9 Gallon Capacity LP Tank

Fits well in a sprinter. Different wheelbase sprinters have different support structure. Perfect for a 170. Less so on the 144.

Manchester propane tanks used to be of the best and highest quality. Well all of that has changed. The quality of these tanks is horrible. Debris left in tank, namely a lot of weld slag. The interior of the tank is filthy as though the steel used is not cleaned in any way before the tank is built. Manchester quality is no more.

Only problems were with the protective shield. Discharge valve not quite lined up at 90d. Had to grind a small part of the protective shield (at the corner) away to connect to the tank. level gauge snapped on fine. Fill port not quite lined up with the cutout in the protective shield making it difficult to hook up for filling. Description could use additional information that a level detecting assembly is pre-installed in the tank.

Perfect tank for my van conversion. Arrived quickly. Heavy gauge shrink wrap used. Scuffed through the wrap on the bottom during transit. Maybe some cardboard under the wrap would have helped but otherwise perfect.

Very disappointed in this tank. The vapor valve is either malfunctioning or something like that. Until I use 60% of the tank volume, the darn vapor valve spews liquid LPG. I'm quite experienced with propane and have worked for 3 different propane companies over the years, including LPG motor vehicle fuel conversions, gas appliance installations, etc. I guess I'm gonna have to seek help via Manchester or failing that, get help at a propane distributor that can assist me. See pics. It's a sweet setup but isn't discharging vapor LPG as it should be.

I was rlly excited about this tank, I bought it to mount on a sprinter and used the photos from another review as my inspiration for install. The tank should be fine but I had to mount it lower than I would like. Mounted the brackets on with a carriage bolt through the crossmember just like shown in the review above. The problem is the design. Look at the mounting brackets... they bend inward above the tank. It means you can only lift the tank so high before it hits those bolts. Tried drilling my own hole closer to the exterior side of the bracket and sawing the bolt down all the way down to the nut and the tank couldn't lift high enough for us to slide the side bolts in. You will have to slide the side bolt in at a certain angle that requires about an inch of clearance. Basically forced me to hang this about 2" lower than I feel comfortable with. I will need a 2" lift kit to make up for it. These brackets are dumb, probably going to have some custom ones made.

Great for Sprinter Van or any van conversion! Easy install, fits perfect, TONS of capacity. Get the optional snap-on gauge. I hung it from the top, its there forever. Of course anodized hardware with lock nuts. good luck!

Everything went well with tank until I went to get it purged and filled. The fill hose wouldn't connect because of cutout location. I will now need to cut it larger where hose can connect.
