Purchased for gardening in the summer. Work really well preventing scratches whilst gardening the most prickly of plants.

Use them for gardening !

Not used them in anger yet but seem a little thin. Time will tell how robust they are.

So long story short I thought I’d teach myself something new and have always wanted to weld however protective gear is very important. I already had long cuff welding gloves gifted to me and these sleeves just cover my arms in a short sleeve shirt so between the leather gloves, my denim apron, an auto darkening entry level helmet and these sleeves I taught myself to weld in 4 days with no injury. I would highly recommend these sleeves if you’re interested in trying welding or even heavy grinding on metals like steel and aluminium as metal splitters are a nightmare! So buy good protection and always keep an appropriate fire extinguisher near by just in case, auto darkening welding helmets will go dark if a flame catches abs you might not see it until it’s out of control. Didn't realise how much splatter there is until I saw how these protected my arms. Well worth it.

Perfect for gardening and preventing thorns scratching the heck out of your arms. Used with short thornproof gloves instead of gauntlets as they come up to your elbows and no issues yet.

Would’ve been good if the elastic didn’t brake after only a couple uses

Prompt delivery by a good brand, could be a little longer for me as i'm very tall, but if i push them up a bit and have them expose my wrists a little it doesn't make any difference when my welding gauntlets (standard length) are on.
