iHealth CORE HS6 Body Analysis Wireless scale

Over the years have had a few scales but this one has to be the ultimate device. Being a lover of tech any new gadget is my dream but this has to be the ultimate in family tech. Out of the box was pretty straightforward just had to remove the plastic tab to connect the already installed set of batteries. Once this is done you will then need to install the iHealth app for your device, on IOS there are 2 apps and if you install the wrong one first you will be directed to install the other. (As I already have another iHealth device I did not have to install anything, just add the scale to the app and then follow the onscreen instructions, very easy. Adding each member of the family and configuring each ones smartphone was effortless and easy to follow and worked for each of us without issue (works without a smartphone, just don't get all the tracking data)This is a fairly substantial device and does not feel like a cheap bathroom scale and would highly recommend to anyone as a personal or family must have gadget.

Had this a few weeks now. Setup was a breeze with the QR Code, connected to my wifi network with no issues whatsoever. I'm loving the hookup to the iHealth app on the phone. The extra thing (and I have no idea how accurate this is, but trends are relative) that I like is the visceral fat measurement. I'm a bit overweight and the doctors are always saying to look out for the fat around the organs etc. I can in at a 10, which is below the recommended healthy threshold of 12. So thanks, iHealth. Good news.

Well... what can I say? The product to me is very good and I'm pleased with it.The measurements seem very consitant which is excellent as I am currently trying to lose some fat. What I really like is how it measures all your other stats like body fat percentage and BMI. I can keep track on my dat lose (while trying to pack on some muscle); I can monitor this with the body fat percentage and muscle mass. As most people know, if you try and lose fat and put on muscle your weight will most likely increase and therefore you can keep track of progress easily.The measurements go onto my app fairly quickly, it nomally takes between 2-5 minutes. There are two users set up (very easy to set up different users!) and its great how it detects each user according to weight. I was consious I would have someone elses stats be put onto my app and the tracking element be ruined, yet this is not the case.Overall a very good product and definitely worth a buy if you are looking for more than just seeing your weight.

I bought these as I already own other iHealth products that I was impressed with. The scales appear solid and well made, but readings are not very accurate. I can step on and off and it will read up to 300g difference within a few seconds. Disappointed as I have some much cheaper manual scales that are much more consistent. They connected to my Wi-fi and the App reports it has registered me as a user, but it fails to upload any data to the iPhone app even though I have carefully followed all the instructions many times. Only gives weight on the scale and fails to give any other readings. I can see from my Wi-fi router the scales connected successfully and are transmitting data, but they fail to sync any measurements to my iHealth account. I tried it with friends Wi-fi and got them to try it with a new account, still no joy. IHealth Support replied promptly with further things to try, but nothing worked.

I purchased the scales as replacement for Withings scales the order arrived quickly though i would have preferred more packaging. The packaging is relevant as after assigning the bar code and setting up the scales with my wifi password the scales would not communicate with the app.I found them well made and repeated weight very well however no hard i tried i could not get them to measure body fat muscle etc. I tried setting up again from scratch no go then i removed the scales from my phone and tried connecting with my ipad again zilchDisappointed i do think packaging might have been better perhaps they would have worked correctly i have returned them as Amazon dont have any stock so back looking.

Easy to setup and use. I love it. Although I usually give it 3 tries as each reading is slightly different. Then I go on my phone, download the info and I select the average of the three and delete the rest. My husband also tried to setup his account on the scale, but every time he goes on it, the info goes onto my account! So I don't get this part and I can't find any other instructions on the manual. I would say its good use for one person.
