This system proves itself as a trustworthy companion for continuous home surveillance. It is hard not to be impressed by the image quality from the five megapixel cameras, which render faces and subtle motions with such fine detail that nothing escapes your attention, and the colour night vision is a brilliant innovation, illuminating your property with bright, natural-looking light that leaves the usual grainy monochrome far behind. Being able to speak directly through the cameras is a feature that adds real everyday value, whether you are directing a courier, welcoming a friend, or addressing someone at your gate from afar, and this responsiveness makes the whole system feel more connected and dynamic. Beyond the excellent image quality, it is the thoughtful features that really impress, like the pre-recording capability that saves the seconds leading up to any event and the intelligent detection that ignores false triggers, meaning you are only disturbed when there is a real reason to pay attention. The pre-installed hard drive keeps all your footage securely in your possession, so you never have to worry about subscription charges or your data ending up elsewhere. The weatherproof housing gives you the freedom to place the cameras wherever they are needed most, without any concern about the elements. The whole installation process is refreshingly uncomplicated, and with helpful guidance close at hand, it never feels like a technical burden.

I bought this wired CCTV system as I was worried about Wi-Fi jamming and with a cable there's no chance of that. This particular set comes with everything you need hard drive installed all the cables mounting brackets etc . The only thing you need is a hdmi monitor. Easy to set up and mount . Night vision is good and the easy to use app has some great functions. The motion detection is very useful as is the remote access . Quality is good and the supplied installed hard drive is more than adequate for storage.

This was my first use of a Digital Video Recording system, and it's impressive at the price, except for cameras. There were a few problems in setting up: I couldn't get DVR working remotely using XMEYE on a laptop using Windows. It was necessary to use a tablet (or I suppose a smartphone would work) to create an XMEYE account. Thereafter I could view remotely on either the tablet or laptop. The XMEYE version for a tablet running Android seems reliable, but the version for PC/Laptop running Windows 7 is not. It worked for a bit in Internet Explorer (not Firefox, Chrome), then not at all. Overall, I found that viewing locally on a TV or Android tablet is a good experience, on a PC or laptop - no. The setups are comprehensive and it takes a while to become familiar with all the various features, and optimise it for your requirements. Having done that, saving the configuration to a memory stick would be a good idea. I don't know how much configuration data is retained if the power fails. I use motion detection to trigger recording, with some scheduled continuous recording. With motion detection there are of course lots of possibilities for false alarms - insects, birds, animals, shadows etc.. Regarding cameras, the orientation adjustment didn't inspire confidence, but I suppose they are cheap and the video is acceptable. When installed outside, neither of the cameras switched to night mode with IR illumination, even with no ambient light. The seller gave me a partial refund when requested, since it was too much hastle for returns. One camera worked fine indoors switching between day and night mode, but not when installed outside. It appears that the night vision function of the cameras only works if the ambient temperature is greater than about 15C (less than half year in UK?). I have made covers (looking like half a bird nest box) to go over the cameras to reduce the potential effects of weather. I can't comment on long term reliability yet, but it's been working for 9 months. The support (via email) has been quick and helpful.

I use the term “reasonable price” but I actually consider this set to be an incredible bargain at £100 and change. You get 4 high quality bullet cameras which all offer 3K full colour quality alongside features such as 2-way audio and motion detection. Everything can be monitored and interacted with via the phone app and even that is worth the money alone. However the package doesn’t stop there because the set also comes with a wired DVR system which includes the 500Gb hard drive for internal recording. That’s a lot of bang for your buck. The system compresses high quality footage into h.264 format which makes it easy to store and fully compatible with editing software if you need that as an option. You also have the ability to add more cameras to the system which takes up to 8 running simultaneously. Brilliant setup and an excellent price.

This cctv system is easy to install and setup, full instructions on how to get the most out of it are clear and easy to follow. I did have a problem with the hdd but contacted grace from sansco customer service who couldn’t be more helpful. Once we tried a few tests found the hdd was faulty so grace has kindly shipped a 1tb unit to replace the 500gb hdd that it came with. Definitely recommend and after sales care is amazing.

This is a superb home CCTV security system which was fairly straightforward to install. Being hardwired it takes patience and time to place the cameras (I opted for two to capture the front of our property and a separate WiFi cam for the rear) but worth it for the peace of mind it affords. This is quality system recording in 1080P with crystal clear capture day and night thanks to its night vision / infra red capability. It's worth spending time setting up the menus and once done you can let it do its thing. Being on a main road I switched off the detection alarms but it's good to have if you want it. It also alarms should someone tries to mask/cover the cameras which is added peace of mind. You can also access the system remotely over the internet should you wish to (set up in the settings having plugged in to your home network) via an app where you can see a live view and also capture video or image stills on your mobile phone. You can also review the recorded footage on your phone as well of course as you can on your home monitor. I have included some photos of the live and recorded footage screens. Also Sansco Customer Support is outstanding. I've had this system since 2019 and I had a few technical issues and wanted to upgrade the HDD. Despite being 4 years old their support and help has been brilliant. They could have ignored me as well out of warranty but they didn't. Answered my questions and provided helpful videos to swap out the drive which went smoothly. This is testament to a company in my view. Not only do they sell a quality product, they are still there years later willing to support a customer. I do not hesitate to recommend this Sansco system.

This is the second Sansco CCTV ive had and although they are good and great picture quality neither of them have lasted more than 2.5 years without the hard drive failing. Due to this I will now be looking for an alternative.
