Great monitor
I love this monitor, it sounds really good, I use for my acoustic solo gigs and I can hear myself very clear. It's great for rehearsing at home as I don't have to set my pa up, I can use my loop station through it when practicing. Seems robust.

Poor sound
Used this briefly in a self contained full band setup. Ran a monitor mix from a good quality digital mixer, but after trying multiple settings & EQs this thing sounded appalling. Seems like the amp is way too overpowered for this small speaker. It just can’t handle anything you put through it

First one was a dud! Second one looks OK
Ordered one of these and it arrived as promised a couple of days later, just in time for a gig that evening. Item looked fine, but proved to be defective - awful sound quality, so bad that I had to switch it off - barely any sound from a DI'd mic, and inputs were up to max just to get a sound out of it and no EQ control. I suspect the amp had blown. Rejected it and returned the item to Amazon. The replacement arrived very quickly and a quick test shows this looks to be OK - sound is what I would expect from DI mic and the EQs are working fine, but I've yet to gig with it. This item was £60 cheaper here than from other sources, and suspect these might be 'B' stock and I got a returned item that hadn't been repaired - both delivery boxes looked like they had been opened before, which is a clue. However, if this one works OK, I'll be happy as it's a great price and a sturdy bit of kit. Just order well before you need it just to check it's not a dud!
