Silverline Expert Mitre Box 300 x 90mm (155319)

The product I received is marked with the exact product code as displayed on the web page B003J15N52. However the lack of meaningfull size information is frustrating and unhelpful.For anyone interested the 300mm size is the length (the least important measurement and not too difficult to figure out) and the 130mm they quote is the OUTSIDE width. What use is that?The internal sizes are the important detail, after all material is cut inside the box - internal width is 90mm and the internal height 53mm. This is not high enough to accurately cut 127mm (5" plaster cove) the purpose for which I purchased it.I took a chance on the height and failed - could have been avoided with meaningful dimensions.The actual quality for the price is fine just a pity about lack of proper dimensions.

a little cheap quality items .. will do the job but not heavey duty

The slots intended to guide the saw are far too wide. Most people would use a tenon saw and these are never this wide. Useless for accurate cuts.

This mitre box is very hand and well made. Angles are spot on and its big enough to take 100mm skirting if careful at beginning of cut. Two holes in bottom help to secure it to a piece of wood then you can clamp into work bench
