Quite a nice blanket.Fits a single bed fine, doesn't reach the edges, but ample room for where you would usually lie in the middle. I found the cords to fit around the mattress a bit fiddly, but once done hope they will keep the blanket straight and flat.The blanket is comfortable, soft, and warm and the wires cannot be felt through the fleece, which is a bonus. Three heat settings, and the highest is the best for a chilly night for anyone who feels the cold.The electricity cable is a little on the short side and may need an extension lead to plug in if the wall sockets aren't near enough.One other slight drawback is it does take quite a while to heat up. It states on the instructions to preheat one hour, or one and a half hours, before getting into bed.However a decent blanket for the price.

Only because my last (very good) heated blanket packed up after 5 years of use, I rushed to replace it because of the cold snap. Wish I'd read the reviews about this product first. Said it heats up quickly, but it takes over an hour to get warm - even on the highest setting. Notes in the booklet say to allow for this in cold weather ...but then what's the point of having a heated blanket if it doesn't spring into action when you need it. Also it has no timer. Not impressed with the service or the price. Avoid.

Excellent product. As a dual control item it's brilliant because you can have your side of the bed at one temperature and your partner can set there preferred warmth.Also pleased with the attitude of the company Tatty box, they didn't have the blanket we ordered so they sent a slightly better one, what great customer service and it was delivered the next day. All round satisfaction

We replaced our Murphy Richard’s blanket with the same equiverlent after consulting Murphy Richard’s, but it doesn’t get as hot especially at the feet

Like all electric blankets, could do with being longer: you have to choose between warm feet or warm upper back/shoulders. As those are my two cold areas, I hate having to choose.Takes a long time to warm up compared to others I've used but much more comfortable, so swings and roundabouts.
