Dandy Kilkis Washable Doormat, Kitchen Mat, 80 x 50cm - Beige

I was really pleased with this mat which at 100 x 67 cms is a generous size for wider doorways or for in front of a kitchen sink. The brown colour scheme is a mid-brown rather than dark brown colour, which is very practical. The edges were carefully finished with no trailing threads. It's not so pale as to show marks easily, and not so dark as to show every scrap of fluff up easily or to make a small space look gloomy.The woven loop is soft enough to be comfortable, but doesn't shed any fibres like conventionally woven rugs, the latex backing makes it suitable for hard surfaces like vinyl or laminate. This size will fit fairly easily into a washing machine for washing at 30 degrees, followed by line drying.Very good value, well - made in the UK and a worthwhile buy.Update: Since this review was written I've washed the mat several times in my 7kg capacity washing machine. The few marks visible washed out and the mat still looks as good as new. It dried really quickly on the washing line; it didn't retain as much water as expected.

I originally wanted it to go into the space in front of my balcony doo, it would have fitted if I didn't have a cabinet to the left, so I just laid it down longways instead but it's a nice mat and good value for money. Matched my carper perfectly.

great rug for the kitchen. grips very well in the floor, and doesn't pick up debris (and comes off quite quickly). It's also great if you have pets - I have a massive dog that hasn't been able to scratch it (in fact usually sleeps on it!)

This looks great in my Kitchen. It's the perfect size. Easy to hoover. Non-slip backing. Apparently it is also machine washable. Which is also one of the reasons I bought it, though I haven't attempted to wash it as yet. I am very happy with my choice as I have been looking for the perfect Kitchen mat for a while now.

My parents had the same mat for the kitchen for a few years, which see's alot of traffic/ wear and tear. The old mat is still in one piece but is now abit grubby in colour after seeing alot of wear in the kitchen. My parents wanted to replace the mat and was surprised to see the same one years later online. Got it ordered and is now in their kitchen. Looks refreshing to have the same mat but with its colour back. My parents are very happy with this.

Delighted with this rug. Arrived really promptly and well packaged. It is great quality, sturdy and very attractive. It arrived rolled for transport as all rugs do but unlike other rugs this one behaved impeccably and lay flat right away! No curled edges or waiting for it to settle. It has a non slip backing which is fantastic as I am using it in my kitchen over ceramic tiles and it stays put! A lovely well made and very serviceable rug!
