The quality is excellent, picture and sound are both way in excess ...
I've had this TV a while now and cannot speak highly enough of it. The quality is excellent, picture and sound are both way in excess of what I need from this as a set for the bedroom. The setup is ridiculously easy, the most complex part being connecting to the internet and even then it coes down to entering your password, hardly cracking the Enigma code. I've also connected up a Samsung Blu-ray player, that was beyond seamless, total integration out of the box. If it was located in a bigger room I might consider getting a soundbar, but to be honest the in-built speakers are more than enough for the room I use it. The picture quality is jaw dropping. I am delighted with this TV, if funds allow i might buy it's bigger sibling to replace my aging main TV.

Great TV
Love the TV. Easy internet connectivity, and all the apps I use are pre-installed. Picture is fantastic & the sound is very good.My only small grumble: I was wall mounting this TV & it requires 4 x M4 machine screws 43mm to 45mm long. I couldn't obtain these locally & had to wait a couple of days for them to be delivered. As the associated cost of these screws is mere pennies & a significant proportion of people may well want to wall mount the TV, it begs the question why are they not included in the box?

Avoid - WASTE OF MONEY
Garbage, not a smart TV as it drops Wifi all the time for no reason at all. Cannot get hold of Amazon or Samsung. Awful and miss-sold based on description and other reviews

As a consequence I bought a larger TV than I intended and am very glad I did
I have had this TV for about a month and before buying it I read all the very helpful advice on the internet about buying the right size TV and getting the distance, height and position right for optimum viewing. As a consequence I bought a larger TV than I intended and am very glad I did. The picture pleases me when watching HD TV transmissions, particularly sport, but not when watching non HD transmissions. I have a modestly priced but well regarded LG blue ray DVD player and this and the TV produce a very pleasing picture but disappointing sound. I have come to the conclusion that while great progress has been made with picture quality, sound is lagging behind. I'm going to see if I can add some small but good quality speakers that will improve things. The remote controller is very good quality, very elegant in appearance and simple to use even for a veteran like me. The TV was easy to set up but the instructions for fitting the very simple stand it comes with are pretty obscure for such a simple task. This TV might be worth five stars but I have difficulty calibrating my expectations.

A Very Good Smart TV
A very good Smart TV set that is very easy to set up and it provides an excellent platform for streaming and catch up tv. The picture quality is good and also the sound.

Display good but connectivity awful
Picture quality excellent, especially with BluRay and HD channels. Sound OK, fairly standard for TV nowadays, nothing amazing.WiFi connection awful. Constantly drops out, needs reconnecting, sometimes need to reset the router so it can find it again despite the fact all other devices in the house never drop out, including streaming TV and internet games on PS4. Frequently freezes when streaming then show message stating insufficient bandwidth (on superfast broadband with download speeds up to 70kbps at same time that TV states no connection to internet!) Seller not interested (Electrical Experience). Sometimes doesn't even find terrestrial channels.Would like to return but seller says just contact Samsung. My contract was with the seller, not Samsung.May need to buy Chromecast and fire stick to make this TV work!

Excellent Freeview Smart TV with many features, inclufing Freeview series record.
I bought this after having purchased a Samsung smart TV a couple of years ago. This one has all the features I wanted and I have connected an IcyBox via USB to allow recording of Freeview programmes. As I had hoped, series record via the Freeview guide is available. No need to overwork the TalkTalk box any longer. The presence of two remotes seems a bit clunky, but I suppose there is some merit to this complication. On the minus side, the TV seems to want to send sound out through an HDMI port, rather than the TV speaker. I have switched it back a couple of times now. The TalkTalk box is not recognised by the M5500 and is installed as an HDMI audio output device. Not good and there seems no way to override this anomaly. I will have to try using another HDMI port. My Sky HD box is recognised and behaves correctly - it can be controlled using the M5500 remote. I should have bought a larger screen, since the TV is so compact and seems smaller than it is.

BT-B18
This should be an excellent little TV but viewing is interrupted constantly by the device trying to connect to a Bluetooth device BT-B18 that does not exist. This seems to be a common problem for many users ...same Bluetooth device name.Samsung apologized. Said it's a known issue and did nothing about it.
