Cheiro was a well known clairvoyant in his time, will show you the mysteries of numbers according to the Chaldean Numerology. As mentioned in his memoirs, Cheiro acquired his expertise in India. As a teenager, he traveled to the Bombay port of Apollo Bunder. There, he met his Guru, an Indian Brahmin, who took him to his village in the valley of the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Later Cheiro was permitted by Brahmans to study an ancient book that has many studies on hands; the pages of the book were made of human skin and written with gold and it is still guarded and protected with great care. After studying thoroughly for two years, he returned to London and started his career as a palmist. He had a wide following of famous European and American clients during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He read palms and told the fortunes of famous celebrities like Mark Twain, W. T. Stead, Sarah Bernhardt, Mata Hari, Oscar Wilde, Grover Cleveland, Thomas Edison, the Prince of Wales, General Kitchener, William Ewart Gladstone, and Joseph Chamberlain. He documented his sittings with these clients by asking them to sign a guest book he kept for the purpose, in which he encouraged them to comment on their experiences as subjects of his character analyses and predictions. Of the Prince of Wales, he wrote that "I would not be surprised if he did not give up everything, including his right to be crowned, for the woman he loved." Cheiro also predicted that the Jews would return to Palestine and the country would again be called Israel.

No criticisms of the seller but the book is full of spelling and grammatical errors.
Insofar as the seller is concerned there is no criticism, the book is new, clean, well packaged and arrived on schedule. This book however appears to be abridged bits of information and is full of spelling and grammatical errors. I have a different Cheiro book and it does not contain the same sort of errors. The book is interesting because it is a Cheiro book, but there appears to be a lot of information missing from this version. The decision about whether it is value for money or not will be down to the individual. I wanted to know what was in the book and am okay with the price I paid for it. Thanks.

Underrated numerology source.
Most of the data from this book can be obtained in the Internet nowadays but a hard copy is always welcome. This arrived in perfect condition and as far as it goes, is the best possible source for numerology as the Pythagorean approach has never been too accurate I find. Please be mindful when consulting some of the predictive examples though, many things are not set entirely in stone and negative outcomes are more avoidable than you might be led to understand in this great book.

A good book to use
Very interesting book. I like the research the author did and it's packed with information for the personal self. Would have preferred had he spoken about the power of numbers in general, rather than just relating them to a person's name, but it was a good book.

Gloomy but interesting.
A good reference work but a tad doomy and fatalistic. One error noticed straightaway in a given example... last time I looked at a calendar...June was the sixth month , not the fifth.... so be careful. There are probably more errors.... but still an interesting contribution to the subject. At least the number 9 is given due attention and not glossed over as in other books. There are so many books on this subject so you have work through the contradictions and errors and find your own way in the numerology maze. This author must have been a child of Saturn...when Saturn wasnt in the best mood....
