This clever little box is just amazing! I originally bought one just over a year ago to stop condensation build up on my bedroom windows in the morning and it worked like a dream. No more wet and soggy windowsills to wipe every morning hurrah!I also started using it to dry the wet washing indoors and was absolutely blown away with how quickly it dries it all.I had a burst pipe in my bathroom at the start of this year where the floor flooded and had to be replaced, but needed to dry out completely first and this clever dehumidifier sped that process up immensely. I also lent it to my mother in law when her old boiler leaked and she needed to dry the cupboard it was kept in.The tank fills up twice a day in my house, and my house is not an overly humid place.It is so easy to run, just plug it in and go. There is a light to tell you how humid the room is, and a temperature reading. There is a night mode so it will be quieter if its too noisy, but i have found the normal mode quite soothing. It beeps at you and switches itself off when the tank is full so you can empty it out, ready to go again. I am so pleased with it ,that I bought a second one for my mum who had some mould in her bedroom. We cleaned and painted over the mould and used this clever device to keep the room moisture free, and no more mould has grown back in 4 months.This dehumidifier has literally been on, every day for over a year and it is still going strong, well worth the money in my view.It's quite heavy, about 10kgs I think, but it comes on caster wheels so you can move it around easier, and there is a built in handle on one side if you need to lift it. If you need a dehumidifier, get this one, much better than those little miniature ones and very cheap to run too!

Every home needs one of these!Like many folks at this time of year, I've started waking up with misty windows from condensation. Knowing that mould won't be far behind it, I needed to get the humidity in my house under control and fast.I looked at various different amazon dehumidifiers, this seemed like the bit of kit to do the job and it had glowing reviews.The humidity was sitting at 95 when I turned it on (no wonder my windows were misty every morning!), after an hour this great bit of kit has lowered the humidity to 77.When it's on, the dehumidifier is not silent. On normal mode, it's slightly noisier than a fan on normal mode and like all new sounds you'll grow accustomed to it running in the background.As for the units mobility, I'm a single woman and can move this around the house easy enough with the castor wheels. It's not too heavy and is quite compact. You could easily tuck it down the corner of a sofa or in the corner of a room. Even if you can't, it's a good looking machine.Cons?FAIR WARNING you need to leave the humidifer for 6-12 hours after receiving it and before using for the first time (just like a new fridge). This is to allow the gas to settle. I think this could've been labelled much, much better than it was (which is the only reason I've knocked off a star).Just to check how long it should be left, I emailed the company and got a swift response within 12 hours so cannot fault the customer service.Also, I would recommend that you skip the first parts of the manual. There were so many warnings that I was scared of even turning it on!In conclusion, if you're struggling with condensation, definitely give this a try. I've made the mistake of getting a cheaper, smaller machine in the past and learned the hard way that when it comes to dehumidifiers, you do need to spend for a quality workhorse.Personally I think that this dehumidifier is well worth the money if it reduces the humidity and prevents mould growth. It's just a nice wee addition that my house already feels warmer and more comfortable.(p.s. please excuse the bare floor in the picture, I've not long moved in)

The amount of moisture this unit pulls from the room is amazing and brilliant at helping to dry clothes. No more black mould in the winter when drying clothes inside

I reviewed dehumidifiers for months before buying, I wanted to ensure i bought one that served our needs.This is an incredible machine. So happy with it. Can't believe the amount of water it extracts from our house on a daily basis. I can rest easier now knowing their is no dampness or moisture trying to seep into walls and furnishings, that will undoubtedly cause long term issues later on in our family home. I see a huge improvement and feel the house is warmer. When I bring it upstairs after showers, it dehudifies the bathroom so quickly comparing to the lingering condensation that would usually remain on the tiles for hours after. It dries the laundry very quick and helps with condensation in the kitchen from cooking. Even though we have a strong extractor it still doesn't catch all the steam. This dehumidifier is a real multi tasker and we love it.When on night mode I don't find it too loud to sleep, like any new noise or sound in a home, after 1 night you get used to it. Really happy with our purchase.Some people say it's expensive to run dehumidifiers...I think it's far cheaper than trying to pay to fix mould and dampness problems and health issues later in life. We have uses it for 2 solid months, have not turned it off day or night and got our full electricity bill. I can estimate it cost an extra 50€ possibly over 2 months so not even 1€ per day. Similar to that of a Christmas bill where we have extra lights and decorations on for the month of December.If your trying to decide on whether ypu should ir shouldn't...on my experience ypubdefinitelg should. It's a great price, a great machine. Extracts water really quick, works really well. Go for it.
